Match Result: Gambia
Both Kosovo and Gambia have tasted the joys of success and the bitterness of defeat lately but the value for a win just about sits with Gambia given they've won four of their last five games; Kosovo have been defeated three times in the same number of matches. It's not only the fact the Gambia have won matches that makes our mind up with regards to this tip though; it's the way they've gone about their business by getting the better of Togo and Niger.
Over/under goals: Over 2.5
If you solely focus on Gambia form then you probably wouldn't be backing there to be more than two goals because their last four have all come in south of the 2.5 cut-off. That said, four of their previous 10 have seen at least three goals so it's far from an impossible outcome for them. When you see Kosovo's form, you'll understand even more why we're making the prediction for this match to see goals. Eight of their last 10 matches have seen a minimum of three goals – including their last six.
Correct score: Gambia 2-1
Our last prediction is without question the longest shot of the three; we're backing Gambia to win the match 2-1. Kosovo are regularly a threat going forwards and have scored in each of their last four games but we don't see them scoring many because Gambia's form, which has seen them lose just two of 10 is built on a solid defence. Given they've only failed to net themselves in one match during their last 10 we think they'll edge the scoring.
Kosovo vs Gambia: Match Preview
Kosovo
Kosovo had been backed as an outside tip to sneak to their first major competition with the delayed Euro 2020 the tournament in question. It never worked out like that but they've continued to turn in good performances to show they have potential as a nation. They've had a real mixed bag of late though so will be keen to put in a good performance here; if that happens then Arb Manaj might be the man to deliver – he's scored in four of his last eight across all competitions.
Gambia
Gambia aren't the biggest footballing nation about but what they've got is a side that do the dirty work well and two goals conceded across their last five games is the catalyst behind their recent form that has seen them lose just one in five. For the most part, they don't have standout players. The exception to that is Musa Barrow.
