Burnley vs Arsenal: Top free betting tips

Burnley will welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor on Saturday, 17 February in a match that will have implications in the title race and relegation battle in the Premier League. Burnley are into must-win territory as they drift further away from safety while Arsenal also need a win to keep the pressure on Liverpool and Man City. With so much on the line, check out our Burnley vs Arsenal prediction below.

Match handicap prediction: Arsenal -1

Burnley gave a good account of themselves at Anfield last weekend but Arsenal have their tails up at the minute and should have far too much for the Clarets. Arteta's men were sensational last weekend in their 6-0 demolition of West Ham and have now won four consecutive Premier League matches. A few weeks prior to the 6-0 win over the Hammers, they beat Crystal Palace 5-0 so goals are flowing and we expect more on Saturday.

Clean sheet prediction: Arsenal, yes

Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premier League with no one conceding fewer goals than the Gunners this season. This is also the case with their away record with just eleven goals conceded on the road in 12 matches. Burnley, meanwhile, have the worst home record in the Premier League with just one win in twelve matches and to make matters worse, they have only scored 13 goals at Turf Moor all season. The Gunners will be disappointed if they concede on Saturday and we can't see it happening.

Correct score prediction: Burnley 0-3 Arsenal

Is another 5-0 or 6-0 battering on the cards? Potentially. However, we're erring on the side of caution an opting for a 3-0 win for Arsenal. Their away record is hugely impressive while Burnley's home record is shocking which makes this a complete mismatch.

Burnley vs Arsenal team news

Burnley predicted lineup vs Arsenal

Vincent Kompany may wonder where his team would currently be had his two first-choice wingers in Nathan Redmond and Luca Koleosho been fit but the pair have been out for some time now and aren't expected to return before the end of the season. Charlie Taylor has been missing from action for the past four matches but he has a chance of returning this weekend while Jordan Beyer is also back in contention which would be a boost for the Burnley defence.

Trafford – Beyer, O'Shea, Esteve, Taylor – Brownhill, Berge, Ramsey – Amdouni, Foster, Fofana

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Burnley

Gabriel Jesus has been absent for Arsenal's last two matches but is back in contention for this one after recovering from a knock. Oleksandr Zinchenko has also been missing since he was substituted off against Arsenal at half time but could be fit to return on Saturday. In terms of injured players, the Gunners are still without Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber, Emile Smith-Rowe and Fabio Vieira. Regardless, Arteta is surely tempted to stick with the same eleven that beat West Ham 6-0 last weekend.

Raya – White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior – Rice, Havertz, Odegaard – Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
