Sheffield United's Premier League misery is set to continue on Monday, 4 March when they welcome Arsenal to Bramall Lane. The Blades are effectively relegated at this point and plans are probably already being made about how they are going to get back out of the Championship next season. For Arsenal, this match represents an opportunity to continue their winning streak and to add more goals to their goal difference. Arsenal have been incredible recently, swatting away every team they've played in the Premier League. The Gunners are currently on a six-match winning streak which has included two 5-0 victories, a 6-0 and a 4-1. They are the most in-form team in the league and they are set to play a side who have conceded more goals than any other side this season and who are on course to break the Premier League record for the most shots faced. This could be a massacre.

Arsenal to keep a clean sheet: Yes

Arsenal haven't just been emphatic in attacking areas in 2024 but they have also been hugely impressive defensively. They have conceded just three goals in their six-match winning streak and have conceded fewer goals than any other side in the Premier League all season. On the flip side, Sheffield United have scored fewer goals than any other side this season which makes it difficult to imagine the Blades getting on the scoresheet on Monday night.

Sheffield United have experienced some humiliating results at home this season, including an 8-0 loss to Newcastle, a 5-0 loss to Aston Villa and a 5-0 loss to Brighton. They also lost 5-0 to Arsenal in the reverse fixture at the Emirates so to say they have scars is an understatement. We would be surprised if Arsenal don't score five or six again here.

Sheffield Utd's issues this season haven't been helped by long-term injuries suffered by key defenders. In total, they are missing five first-team defenders for the match against Arsenal – Chris Basham, John Egan, Mason Holgate, Max Lowe and Rhys Norrington-Davies. That isn't the end of their injury problems, though, as they are also missing Slimane in midfield and Archer and Jebbison at the top of the pitch.

How far will Arsenal fans travel to Sheffield?

Arsenal fans have a long journey up north on Monday night to see their team take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. It will take around three hours and 30 minutes via car or coach up the M1 to Sheffield in a trip that totals at 165 miles. By train, Arsenal fans will need to make their way across London to St Pancras International where they are able to get on a direct service to Sheffield. The stadium is within walking distance of the train station.

Sheffield Utd are now selling tickets on general sale for the match against Arsenal as they are try and get fans through the door to help the team in any way they can. Arsenal were given an away allocation of 2,861 tickets for the match against Sheffield United and these have all gone to qualifying season ticket holders.
