Both Teams To Score – Yes

Reading and Blackpool had identical stats in attack last season and their goal-scoring abilities are not the greatest in the league. All of the players they acquired came as loan tranfers and there is just one name that is more than 22 years of age. Overall, the team was good in defense last season but they lacked the strength in attack, so if they improve that, we should see them higher in the table.

Reading Preview

Reading had a truly disappointing season last year and barely survived the relegation battle after finishing right above the relegation zone. The team lost 25 out of 46 games and had one of the worst goal differences in the league. In a similar way, Reading decided to focus on free transfers and loans in the off-season but the difference is that most of what they got are experienced players around 30 or more years of age.
