Tottenham vs Bournemouth: Top free betting tips
Tottenham will take on Bournemouth on Sunday 31 December in what is set to be the final Premier League match of 2023 alongside Fulham vs Arsenal. Spurs suffered a bruising defeat last time out while Bournemouth are the league's most in-form team so this will be far from straightforward for the home side. Our Tottenham vs Bournemouth prediction is for a rollercoaster of a football match that ultimately ends with the points being shared at the full-time whistle.
Match result prediction: Draw
Tottenham have been a streaky team all season, combining winning streaks with winless ones. They went into their match with Brighton on Thursday night on the back of three consecutive Premier League wins but out of nowhere, they were pumped by the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium. The last time they lost after a winning streak, it took them five games to recover so we would be surprised if they found a win against a Bournemouth team who haven't lost in seven league matches.
Total goals prediction: Over 3.5 goals
Unless Ange Postecoglou completely rips up his philosophy before the visit of Bournemouth then the home side will line up with a very aggressive high line again which usually means plenty of chances at both ends of the pitch. There have been 16 goals scored in Spurs' last four matches while Bournemouth have scored three times in each of their last three league matches. Historically, this is a high-scoring fixture, too, with five goals being scored in three of the last five H2Hs.
Correct score prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Bournemouth aren't suddenly going to go into their shell because they are playing a big side away from home – just look at what they did to Man Utd at Old Trafford at the beginning of the month. Meanwhile, Spurs will fight fire with fire to try and immediately avenge their embarrassing night on the South Coast.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Bournemouth
Player availability continues to be a problem for Spurs and Postecoglou can add Dejan Kulusevski to the long list of players not at his disposal after the Swede picked up his fifth booking of the season against Brighton. There are also question marks about Richarlison's fitness again after the Brazilian came off with a back issue on Thursday night. Meanwhile, the likes of James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Micky van de Ven are all no closer to returning to the fold.
Vicario – Porro, Emerson, Davies, Udogie – Sarr, Hojberg – Johnson, Lo Celso, Son – Richarlison
Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Tottenham
After keeping patience with Andoni Iraola during a rocky start, the Bournemouth fans and board are now more than being repaid by the Spaniard. The 41-year-old has the Cherries on a seven-match unbeaten run in the Premier League with Dominic Solanke playing the best football of his career at the top end of the pitch. Iraola has no new injury or suspension concerns ahead of this one so we anticipate the same eleven that beat Fulham 3-0 to line up again here.
Neto – Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Ouattara – Scott, Christie – Kluivert, Semenyo, Tavernier – Solanke

Spurs fans in disbelief at their injury list
We nearly have a FULL starting XI of players injured/suspended that are missing the Bournemouth game on Sunday.
Add Son & Sarr to this later.
Extraordinary. I’ve not seen anything like it in my life. So much bad luck.

How far will Bournemouth fans travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
As far as away trips go for Bournemouth fans, the one to North London to face Spurs is far from the longest they will encounter this season. Despite that, the distance is still around 120 miles and will take fans around 2.5 hours via coach or car up either the M3 or M4. Via train, the journey will take slightly longer as it will involve changing at Southampton Airport Parkway and then again at Waterloo to get the Underground to Seven Sisters.
