Brentford vs Aston Villa: Top free betting tips

Aston Villa will look to continue their excellent form when they travel to Brentford on Sunday 17 December. The Villains come into the game on the back of two wins over Man City and Arsenal but can they keep their level of performance up away from home? Our Brentford vs Aston Villa prediction is for an away victory and for Villa fans to start seriously dreaming of winning the title.

Match result prediction: Aston Villa to win

Aston Villa have been ridiculously good at home so far this season and if their away form improves a touch then they legitimately will be in the title race. They haven't exactly been poor away from home and have beaten Tottenham and Chelsea in two of their last five away matches. Given the momentum they are currently riding, we can only see another Villa win on Sunday.

Both teams to score prediction: Yes

Although Brentford haven't been as deadly in front of goal without Ivan Toney, the Bees have still managed to score 12 goals in their six matches at the Gtech Community Stadium. Aston Villa, meanwhile, are the third-highest scorers in the league with 35 goals in 16 games and they have only failed to score on one occasion in all competitions all season.

Correct score prediction: Brentford 1-2 Aston Villa

This one should be a cracking match for the neutral as Brentford only know how to play one way at home and Aston Villa are currently the most dangerous team in the Premier League. It wouldn't surprise us if Brentford did get something from the match but we are just going for a narrow Villa victory with Ollie Watkins getting on the scoresheet.
