Chelsea vs Brighton: Top free betting tips

Chelsea take on Brighton on Sunday 3rd of December in the Premier League with the home side still looking to properly start their season and the away side looking to build on their win last weekend. Our Chelsea vs Brighton prediction is for a high-scoring, highly entertaining affair between two teams who will go all-out-attack for the three points.

Match result prediction: Chelsea to win

Chelsea have had a peculiar season so far, with the Blues perhaps not getting as many points as they have deserved. They have looked really good at times yet they are languishing in tenth place in the Premier League table, twelve points behind the top four. Brighton have recently endured a six-match winless run in the league which ended last week, however, they played in Greece on Thursday night whereas Chelsea have had the week off.

Total goals prediction: Over 2.5 goals

Chelsea have been involved in some high-scoring affairs in recent weeks with 18 goals being scored in their last three Premier League matches. The Blues have picked up four points from those three fixtures but appear only know how to play one way. Brighton were involved in a five-goal thriller themselves last weekend and they have scored at least one goal in every league match this season.

Correct score prediction: Chelsea 3-2 Brighton

This game is certain to be a high-scoring match and we think the freshness of Chelsea will see them get over the winning line in the latter stages of the match. Chelsea absolutely need a win to retain any hope of finishing in the Champions League spots and a loss could see them drop as low as 15th if other results go against them.

Chelsea vs Brighton team news

Chelsea predicted lineup vs Brighton

The biggest loss for Chelsea this weekend is that their captain, Reece James, is unavailable after being sent off in the Blues' match against Newcastle last weekend. Marc Cucurella is also unavailable after picking up his fifth booking of the season last weekend. Pochettino remains without several first-team players including Wesley Fofana and Roman Lavia

Sanchez – Gusto, Silva, Badiashile, Colwill –  Caicedo, Fernandez, Gallagher –  Palmer, Jackson, Sterling

Brighton predicted lineup vs Chelsea

Brighton secured qualification to the knockout stages of the Europa League on Thursday night but Roberto de Zerbi had to field his strongest eleven in Athens to get the job done. As a result, the Italian could be forced into some rotational changes on Sunday with Lewis Dunk a certainty to miss out after being sent off against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Steele – Veltman, Hinshelwood, Igor, Milner – Gilmour, Gross – Adingra, Pedro, Mitoma – Ferguson

Will Christopher Nkunku play?

Christopher Nkunku is back in full training with Chelsea ahead of the match against Brighton and the Frenchman could feature in the matchday squad for the the Blues for the first time in four months. It's highly unlikely that Nkunku will start the match but a cameo off the bench isn't out of the question.
