Chelsea vs Wolves: Top free betting tips

Chelsea are set to take on Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday, 4 February with both teams looking to bounce back from midweek defeats. Chelsea felt hard done by at Anfield after several controversial penalty decisions went against them while Wolves lost to a last-minute bit of magic from Kobbie Mainoo. Our Chelsea vs Wolves prediction is for an even match between two teams who aren't afraid to attack in numbers. We're going for a score draw.

Match result prediction: Draw

Chelsea were playing their best football of the season before their visit to Anfield so they shouldn't be too disheartened by the 4-1 defeat. Wolves were also in a rich vein of form prior to their loss at home to Man Utd and had gone seven matches unbeaten in all competitions. That makes this a difficult match to call which is why we are sitting and stating that our Chelsea vs Wolves prediction is a draw.

Both teams to score prediction: Yes

Chelsea have been involved in some ding-dong matches this season and in many ways, they have been the kings of BTTS. Four of their last five Premier League matches have covered the BTTS market while 16 of Wolves' 22 league matches have seen them both concede and score. What's more, the reverse fixture finished 2-1 to Wolves so they have already demonstrated that they are willing to attack each other at will this season.

Correct score prediction: Chelsea 2-2 Wolves

Wolves came out in the second half against Man Utd on Thursday night with fire in their bellies and they scored three goals in half an hour. While that wasn't enough to pick up any points on the night, they are doing well in front of goal and there's no reason why that can't continue at Stamford Bridge. The same can be said for Chelsea who have scored twelve goals in their last six games.

Whether Jackson comes straight back into the starting eleven remains to be seen with Christopher Nkunku scoring on Wednesday night. Pochettino is still without Levi Colwill, Lesley Ugohchukwu, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah as his injury list refuses to get any better.

Wolves predicted lineup vs Chelsea

Gary O'Neil will be the envy of of his opposite number as he has zero players out injured for the visit to Stamford Bridge. His only absentees are Boubacar Traore and Hwang Hee-Chan who are both still away on international duty. O'Neil will likely make some changes from the Man Utd match with Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pablo Sarabia both impressing off the bench in the second half.
