Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest: Top free betting tips
Bournemouth are set to face Nottingham Forest on Sunday, 4 February with both teams looking for their first win in three matches. Arguably it is Nottingham Forest who need the win more given their precarious position in the league table but the Vitality Stadium isn't an easy place to go. Our Bournemouth vs Nottingham prediction is for the Cherries to get back to winning ways and for Forest to slump closer to the relegation zone.
Match result prediction: Bournemouth to win
After a poor start to the season, Bournemouth then enjoyed a sensational run of form that catapulted them into the top half of the Premier League table. However, they have recently endured a three-match winless run in the league which may concern Andoni Iraola. Context is key – two of those games were against Spurs and Liverpool and the third – against West Ham on Thursday night – they should have won. They still look a tidy outfit and we expect them to overcome a depleted Nottingham Forest side.
Total goals prediction: Over 2.5 goals
Contrary to what many people were expecting, Nottingham Forest have been very open under Nuno Espirito Santo and they have been involved in some high-scoring matches. Only one of the eight matches Forets have played under the guidance of Santo has seen under 2.5 goals which makes this market very appealing. What's more, six out of Bournemouth's last seven matches have also seen over 2.5 goals scored.
Correct score prediction: Bournemouth 3-1 Nottingham Forest
With the exception of the drubbing handed to them by Liverpool, Bournemouth have still been playing well despite the dip in results. They could have been three goals up at half time against West Ham on Thursday night and will have been gutted to have left the London Stadium with just a point. Forest, meanwhile, were really poor against Arsenal in the week and have struggled on the road all season.

Nottingham Forest predicted lineup vs Bournemouth
January was always going to be a hard month for Nottingham Forest with six players away at AFCON 2023 but they could welcome two of them back this weekend after Senegal's elimination. Cheikhou Kouyaté and Moussa Niakhaté have both been missed dearly at the City Ground and could come straight back into the starting eleven. Boly, Aina, and Sangare remain at the tournament with the Ivory Coast as does Serger Aurier, however, the full-back is set to join Galatasaray on loan.
Turner – Montie, Murillo, Niakhaté, Toffolo – Kouyaté, Danilo, Gibbs-White – Elanga, Awoniyi, Hudson-Odoi
Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest: What the fans think
Cherries fans hoping for a more clinical display
Think both sides were a bit lacking in the final third. West Ham had zero attacking threat and had to rely on a moment of madness from Kelly to win the game.
Onto Forest on Sunday. Hopefully we can be a bit more clinical.#afcb
