Tottenham vs Crystal Palace: Top free betting tips

Tottenham Hotspur will look to reap the benefits of having two weeks off when they face Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, 2 March. The Lilywhites were stunned at home to Wolves in their last Premier League outing but Man Utd's defeat to Fulham last weekend effectively let them off the hook. Palace, meanwhile, started life under Oliver Glasner in the best possible way with a 3-0 win at home. Ahead of the clash, check out our Tottenham vs Crystal Palace prediction below.

Match result prediction: Draw

If this match was played a month ago then you'd have put your house on Spurs overcoming Roy Hodgson's woeful Crystal Palace side. However, the new manager bounce can do weird and wonderful things and Palace already look better in every part of the pitch. Tottenham, on the other hand, will be feeling fragile after their loss on home soil to Wolves. All three results are very much a possibility here but we are opting for a score draw.

Total goals prediction: Over 2.5 goals

Matches involving Tottenham have been high-scoring affairs all season. You have to go back to the middle of December for the last Premier League match involving Postecoglou's men where fewer than three goals were scored which makes the over 2.5 goals market extremely appealing on Saturday. Palace have only had one game under Oliver Glasner and it finished 3-0 so there's reason to believe the Eagles will pose more of a threat under the Austrian.

Correct score prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Crystal Palace

Tottenham will give everything to win the match and you can bet your house that Ange Postecoglou won't divert from his attacking and open philosophy just because they lost last time out. Palace, meanwhile, will be dangerous opponents under their new manager which sets us up for a potential cracker.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace team news

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham were playing four full-backs across the back four a few months ago and they may be forced to play four centre-backs across it on Saturday with doubts over the availability of Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie. Both men missed the game against Wolves and Ryan Sessegnon has since been ruled out of the season. If neither Porror nor Udogie make it, then Emerson Royal will be the obvious replacement at right-back while Ben Davies will play on the left.

Vicario – Royal, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies – Bentancur, Sarr – Son, Maddison, Kulsevski – Richarlison

Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Tottenham

Crystal Palace defender, Joachim Andersen, was forced off against Burnley last weekend but should be okay on Saturday. In further good news, Eberechi Eze could make his first appearance under the new regime after returning to training following a thigh injury while Will Hughes is also available again. Unfortunately for Glasner, Olise, Holding, Guehi, Rak-Sakyi and Doucoure are all still in the treatment room.

Johnstone – Munoz, Ward, Richards, Andersen, Mitchell – Wharton, Lerma, Eze – Ayew, Mateta
