Man Utd vs Bournemouth: Top free betting tips
Man Utd take on Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon with the doom and gloom around Old Trafford slightly lifted following the Reds' 2-1 win over Chelsea. In light of that result, our Man Utd vs Bournemouth prediction is for another victory for United but for Bournemouth to push them all the way.
Match result prediction: Man Utd to win
Before facing Chelsea on Wednesday, Man Utd looked like a team dead on its feet and Erik Ten Hag's job was at serious risk. Against Chelsea, though, United were tireless out of possession and dynamic with it and were more than worthy of the three points. We expect them to ride the wave of momentum from that game and pick up another three points at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Total goals prediction: Over 2.5 goals
Man Utd have been involved in some high-scoring games of late with their 3-3 thriller against Galatasaray just over a week old. The Reds have scored twelve goals in their last six games and their opponents on Saturday, Bournemouth, have also been efficient in front of goal lately. The Cherries have scored nine goals in their last four games and it would be a surprise if they didn't get one on Saturday.
Correct score prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Bournemouth
Manchester United seem to be at their best when they are prepared to play at 100mph. While this approach comes with the downside of conceding chances, the Reds can't seem to create much going forward when they attempt to be more controlled so we expect Ten Hag to embrace this style going forward. As a result, we believe there will be goals for both sides on Saturday but for United to edge it.
Man Utd vs Bournemouth team news
Man Utd predicted lineup vs Bournemouth
Erik Ten Hag dropped Marcus Rashford for the match against Chelsea on Wednesday and considering the effort his players put in, it would be a surprise if he made any changes to his starting lineup for the match against Bournemouth. On the injury front, Ten Hag is still without Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Mason Mount.
Onana – Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw – Amrabat, McTominay, Fernandes – Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho
Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Man Utd
Andoni Iraola has also found a winning formula at Bournemouth in recent weeks after overcoming a difficult start to the season. The Spaniard has been dealt a tough hand in terms of injuries, with Kelly, Adams, Aarons, Scott and Fredericks all out but he his desired style of play is starting to become evident. The partnership between Semenyo and Solanke at the top of the pitch has been particularly impressive and the pair should start together again at Old Trafford.
Neto – Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez – Cook, Christie – Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier – Solanke

Reds call for continuity
I hope he starts the same front 3 against Bournemouth on Saturday. Rashford needs some time out of the team and Martial needs to be released as soon as his contract is up in June.

Bournemouth buzzing with Iraola
Well done to Bill Foley for holding his nerve against some of the media who have no idea because they probably never actually took the time to understand what we want & how we want to do it.
Rome wasn’t built in a day but Iraola is laying those foundations now! https://t.co/k7YkZX6ZMM
