Everton vs Crystal Palace: Top free betting tips
Everton are set to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday, 19 February in the Premier League in an important match at the bottom of the table. The Toffees are currently inside the bottom three but a win could lift them out of the drop zone provided other results go their way. Crystal Palace are five points ahead of Everton so have the chance to move clear. Ahead of the match, check out our full Everton vs Crystal Palace prediction below.
Match result prediction: Everton to win
Everton's form since the middle of December has been poor and they've only won one of their last eleven matches in all competitions. Who was that one win against? Crystal Palace. The two sides met at Goodison Park in the FA Cup and the Tofees ran out as 1-0 winners. Their results haven't been great but they have still been creating enough chances to win games. The return of Abdoulaye Doucoure is a big boost to their chances and we think they will beat the Eagles on Monday night.
Both teams to score prediction: No
Neither of these sides are the most prolific teams in the Premier League by any stretch of the imagination. Only Burnley and Sheffield United have conceded fewer goals than Everton and Crystal Palace this season so we believe this one will be settled by a solitary goal. The two sides have already faced each other on three occasions this season and the last two have seen just one goal in. Expect another cagey affair on Monday night, especially with what's potentially at stake.
Correct score prediction: Everton 1-0 Crystal Palace
We are backing Everton to repeat what they did against the Eagles last month in the FA Cup by winning 1-0. The away side have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions with their only win 2024 coming at home to Sheffield United.
Everton vs Crystal Palace team news
Everton predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace
The biggest news out of the Everton camp this week is that Abdoulaye Doucoure is back in training with the squad. Sean Dyche is optimistic that the midfielder will be fit to face Crystal Palace in what would be a huge boost for the Toffees considering he is their top goalscorer this season. Ben Godfrey should also be okay despite hobbling off in the second half against Man City last weekend, however, Danjouma, Dele and Andre Gomes are all still unavailable for selection.
Pickford – Godfrey, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko – Gueye, Garner – Harrison, Doucoure, McNeil – Calvert-Lewin
Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Everton
Crystal Palace could be without as many as seven players for the trip to Goodison Park on Monday night. Their two best attacking players, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, are both unavailable while Cheick Doucoure, Rob Holding, Marc Guehi and Jesuran Rak-Sakyi will all also miss the match. Will Hughes has an outside chance of being available despite being forced off with an ankle injury last weekend.
Henderson – Munoz, Andersen, Richards, Mitchell – Lerma, Wharton – Franca, Hughes, Ayew – Mateta
