Fulham vs Aston Villa: Top free betting tips

Fulham are set to take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, 17 February in a match that means more for the away side. Villa's form has dipped in recent weeks and they are now in a real fight to qualify for the Champions League after being in a commanding position this time last month. Fulham, meanwhile, are just trying to finish as high in the table as possible. Ahead of the match, check out our Fulham vs Aston Villa predictions.

Match result prediction: Draw

Aston Villa's recent form has been concerning, to say the least, with the Villains only winning one of their last six matches in all competitions. Last time out, they played okay against Manchester United but still lost in a result that will have shattered confidence in the dressing room. Fulham, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last three matches with the two of those results being a draw. Form isn't on Villa's side but they should do enough to take a point here.

Both teams to score prediction: Yes

Aston Villa created plenty of good goalscoring opportunities against Manchester United last weekend and will feel they should have scored more than one goal. Their goalscoring form has generally been good lately despite their poor results, and they have scored eight goals in their last four outings. Fulham have also rediscovered their goalscoring form after a lean spell with Marco Silva's side scoring five goals in their last two Premier League matches.

Correct score prediction: Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

Would either side turn their nose up at a point here? Probably not. Aston Villa fans will perhaps feel their side need a win with Tottenham now ahead of them in the race for the top four but a point would at least keep them close ahead of their clash with Spurs in a couple of weeks.

Fulham vs Aston Villa team news

Fulham predicted lineup vs Aston Villa

Marco Silva got his side back to winning ways last time out against Bournemouth and will want to pick the same eleven again despite Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey now back from AFCON 2023. Rodrigo Muniz's form at the top of the pitch will be most pleasing for Silva with the Brazilian scoring three times in the club's last two matches. His form should mean new signing, Broja, remains on the bench for the time being. In terms of injuries, Raul Jimenez and Kenny Tete remain unavailable for selection.

Leno – Castagne, Dop, Ream, Robinson – Cairney, Palhinha – Willian, Decordova-Reid, Pereira – Muniz

Aston Villa predicted lineup vs Fulham

Aston Villa suffered a blow last weekend when Boubacar Kamara was taken off with a knee injury. It has since transpired that the midfielder suffered a serious ligament injury and will be out for the season. Kamara joins the likes of Buendia, Mings, Konsa and Diego Carlos in the treatment room. Youri Tielemans is likely to come in for Kamara in midfield while Diaby could start the match in place of the wasteful Jacob Ramsey.

Martinez – Cash, Torres, Lenglet, Digne – Luiz, Tielemans – Diaby, McGinn, Bailey – Watkins
