Car Parking

There is limited controlled public parking adjacent to the Waikato Stadium, however due to the large number of pedestrians in the area on game days it is advised to avoid the area completely.

On event days accessibility parking spaces are available on Willoughby Street which is less than a 1-minute walk away from the stadium.

By Train Or Bus

On Seddon Road, which is directly behind the Greenzone Stand, you will find two bus stops, but if you are travelling by train, then the closest railway station is Hamilton Station which is a 23-minute walk away. If you come out of the railway station on to Fraser Street, you will then need to take a left on to a little grassed area, which will see you onto Lake Road. Then you will need to take a right onto Commerce Street before joining on to Old Mill Street, which will then see you access another little grassed area which leads you on to Seddon Street and, therefore right at the stadium’s entrance.

Disabled Facilities

Alongside the accessibility parking mentioned above there is also special areas set aside for wheelchair users and their caregivers. You have to request accessibility seating when purchasing a ticket for an event at the Waikato Stadium.
