Man Utd vs West Ham: Top free betting tips

Man Utd are set to face West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday, 4 February as the Red Devils look to pick up where they left off against Wolves on Thursday night. A win would move United above the Hammers in the Premier League table so the game is a big one in the race for European football. Our Man Utd v West Ham prediction is for a home win with United finally starting to look like a cohesive unit now they are back to full strength.

Match result prediction: Man Utd to win

Man Utd had a night to remember on Thursday night against Wolves. In the first half, they put in their best performance of the season and went in a half time 2-0 up. The second half was far more chaotic and they ended up needing a bit of magic from Kobbie Mainoo to win the match late on. If the Reds can play like they did in the first half at Molineux then they will have too much for West Ham who are winless in their last five matches.

Anytime goalscorer prediction: Rasmsus Hojlund

Rasmus Hojlund had a difficult start to life at Man Utd but has found his best form in recent weeks. Hojlund has scored three goals in his last three league outings for United and put in his best overall performance for the club on Thursday. The Danish striker is just one goal away from reaching double figures for the season in all competitions and he will fancy his chances against a team who have conceded eight goals in their last three away matches.

Correct score prediction: Man Utd 3-1 West Ham

A Man Utd clean sheet is probably too much to ask for, particularly after they managed to concede three goals on Thursday despite playing so well. West Ham are usually good for a goal and they beat United 2-0 in this season's reverse fixture but we can't imagine the Reds not outscoring the Hammers at Old Trafford on Sunday given the recent form of the two sides.

Man Utd predicted lineup vs West Ham

After putting up with a crippling injury list all season, Erik Ten Hag was finally able to field his first-choice eleven on Thursday and he will do the same on Sunday provided everyone came through the match okay. Linandro Martinez is the only concern after he was seen icing his foot after being taken off late on against Wolves but he should be okay. Sofyan Amrabat is back from AFCON so should be on the bench for the Reds but Mount, Malacia and Martial are all still out injured.

Onana – Dalot, Martinez, Varane, Shaw – Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes – Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho

West Ham predicted lineup vs Man Utd

David Moyes will welcome back Nayef Aguerd to his matchday squad after Morocco's elimination from AFCON and Vladimir Coufal is available for selection after serving a suspension so West Ham's backline could have a different look to it on Sunday. Moyes' forward line will likely remain the same, however, as Antonio and Paqueta are still injured. One man who definitely won't play is Said Benrahma who has joined Lyon on loan until the summer.

Areola – Coufal, Aguerd, Zouma, Emerson – Phillips, Alvarez, Ward-Prwose – Kudus, Cornet, Bowen

Man Utd vs West Ham: What the fans think

United fans are looking for a top-four push

West Ham fans adopt an ‘expect the unexpected' mentality

How far will West Ham fans travel to Old Trafford?

West Ham fans have a long trip up north on Sunday as they make the 210-mile trip from East London to Old Trafford. By car or coach, the journey will take around three hours and 40 minutes up the M1 and M6 but by rail, the journey will be shorter provided fans can get to Euston quickly. They will need to take a direct train from Euston to Manchester before boarding the Metrolink to Old Trafford.

Man Utd vs West Ham: Tickets

Man Utd have sold all of their tickets for the match against West Ham but they are still advertising hospitality packages for the match. West Ham were given an allocation of 3,008 tickets for the match against Man Utd and the club have sold all of these to eligible season ticket holders. As a result, Old Trafford will be full on Sunday.
