Pint costs have gone through the roof in the United Kingdom over the past five years, as the cost-of-living crisis and inflation have hit every region.
Football fans haven't managed to escape the pinch either, with football stadiums in England raising their pint prices in line with other pubs and venues.
Some football clubs have recently decided to make a stand and lower their prices again in a bid to a) show that they aren't out of touch with their fans and b) try to get more fans into the stadium in the build-up to kick-off.

The Premier League pints table does throw up a few surprises, most notably that the two biggest clubs in the country, Liverpool and Man Utd, offer their fans the cheapest pints in the division. This is at odds with the notion that both clubs care more about ‘tourists' and day-trippers than their local, core support.
On the flip side, it's no surprise to see that three London clubs occupy the top four in the table. Pints are more expensive in the capital than anywhere else and most football clubs have followed suit. Hats off to West Ham for offering £3.90 pints to their fans.

The Championship pints table is also an interesting one with Leed taking top spot with the most expensive pint in the division. Elland Road is one of the few Championship grounds that is sold out on a weekly basis and the club are clearly keen to capitalise on that by charging £5 for pints.
At the other end of the table are Burnley, who were relegated alongside Leeds last season. Based in Lancashire, pints in Burnley will be among the cheapest in the country so it's good to see that the football club are in line with that.
