The Club have announced that work is to begin again on the building of the new East Stand at the Sixfields Stadium. The building of the stand had originally begun in June 2014, with a view to it being open by the end of the 2014-15 season. However works were suspended in October 2014 due to a contractual dispute. Works re-commenced in March 2015 but again they were suspended a few months later, with the Club running into financial difficulties and seeking a new owner.
New East Stand
The new Chairman has confirmed that 1,924 seats will be installed into the East Stand, hopefully in time for them to be utilised by fans before the end of this season. Works on the other parts of the stand, such as the new hospitality areas, should then follow on from that.
