Olympiacos vs TSC: Top free betting tips

Olympiacos take on TSC in the final round of Europa League group stage fixtures on Thursday 14 December at the Karaiskakis Stadium. The Greek side have had a disappointing European campaign but a draw here would give them a place in the Europa Conference League after Christmas. Our Olympiacos vs TSC prediction is for the home side to get the job done but not without a scare or two along the way.

Match result prediction: Olympiacos to win

Playing in front of their passionate supporters, Olympiacos should have too much quality for TSC who have struggled in the Europa League all season. The Serbian outfit have only picked up one point in the group stages and that was on home turf while Olympiacos won their most recent home Europa League tie against West Ham.

Both teams to score prediction: Yes

Olympiacos are usually good value for a goal, particularly at home and they have scored 14 goals in their last eight matches in all competitions. TSC aren't quite as prolific, but they have scored eight goals in their last six games so they are still averaging at least one goal per game. In the reverse fixture in Serbia, the match finished 2-2 so both teams will know they can get at the other.

Correct score prediction: Olympiacos 3-1 TSC

Olympiacos' European experience should get them over the line here against a team that are novices at this level of competition in comparison. The Serbian side may benefit from the fact that all the pressure is on Olympiacos which could help them to at least get on the scoresheet in Athens, however, we believe the home side will ultimately get the job done.

Olympiacos vs TSC team news

Olympiacos predicted lineup vs TSC

Olympiacos will go full strength for this one as they search for Europa Conference League in the new year. In a boost to those chances, Wolves loanee Daniel Podence has returned to training after an injury layoff and should go straight back into the starting lineup. Unfortunately, the match has come too soon for Stevan Jovetic with the ex-Man City man still not match fit.

Paschalakis – Rodinei, Biancone, Retsos, Ortega – Iborra, Camara – Podence, El Kaabi, Fortounis – Masouras

TSC predicted lineup vs Olympiacos

TSC have nothing to lose here and still have an outside shot of making it into the Europa Conference League. The Serbian side have kept a clean sheet in their last two domestic matches using a five-at-the-back system so it would be a surprise to see them move away from that here given the need for defensive solidity in Europe. At the top end of the pitch, Marko Rakonjac will be their main goalscoring hope.

Ilic –  Vlalukin, Calusic, Krstic, Antonic, Petrovic – Kuveljic, Radin –  Cirkovic – Jovanovic, Rakonjac

How far will TSC fans travel to the Karaiskakis Stadium?

The total distance from TSC (Backa Topola) to Athens isn't overly massive but the issue is accessibility. In theory, TSC fans could make the trip via car but it would take around 13 hours and there are no rail options. The quickest method is to travel from Back Topola to Belgrade and then catch a 90-minute flight to Athens from Belgrade airport.

Olympiacos vs TSC: Tickets

Olympiacos still have some tickets left for this match with the club struggling to sell out their 33,334-seater stadium. Tickets were initially sold to season ticket holders and members but they are now on sale to the public so head to the club's official website to snap up what's left. TSC haven't sold out their allocation for the fixture either, meaning there will be some empty seats in the away end. TSC fans can purchase away tickets through the club's website.
