PSG vs Real Sociedad: Top free betting tips
PSG will begin their Champions League knockout campaign on Wednesday, 14 February when they face Real Sociedad at the Parc des Princes. The French champions scraped through the group stages by the skin of their teeth while Real Sociedad qualified as group winners. Can Real Sociedad's fairy tale campaign continue or will PSG's superstars send them packing? Check out our full PSG vs Real Sociedad prediction below.
Match result prediction: PSG to win
PSG come into the match in fantastic form with the team now playing the type of football that Luis Enrique was brought in to produce. They are on a 16-match unbeaten run in all competitions with their last loss coming at the San Siro against AC Milan back in November. They dismantled Lille at the weekend in Ligue 1 and effectively already have the league title wrapped up. Meanwhile, Real Sociedad, have no form coming into the match with no wins in their last four matches.
Clean sheet prediction: PSG, yes
Although away goals are no longer of any value in the Champions League, we still expect PSG to keep Real Sociedad at bay on Wednesday night. Their own defensive record isn't anything spectacular but Real Sociedad have been having serious problems in front of goal in recent weeks. They have failed to score a goal in their last four matches and they have only scored more than one goal on two occasions in their last ten outings.
Correct score prediction: PSG 3-0 Real Sociedad
If you have a tough away trip in the Champions League on the horizon then you need form coming into the match to give yourself belief. Real Sociedad don't have that whatsoever and we expect PSG to capitalise on this lack of confidence by effectively putting the tie to bed in Paris.

PSG predicted lineup vs Real Sociedad
PSG do have some defensive injuries ahead of the match against Real Sociedad with Presnel Kimpembe and Milan Skriniar both ruled out of the match. There are also doubts about full-backs, Nuno Mendes and Lanyvin Kurzawa and the pair will face later fitness tests. Kylian Mbappe was given a rest at the weekend but he will certainly feature here while Donnarumma, Hakimi and Marquinhos should also come back into the starting eleven, too.
Donnarumma – Hakimi, Danilo, Marquinhos, Hernandez – Urgate, Zaire-Emery, Ruiz – Dembele, Mbappe, Kolo Muani
Real Sociedad predicted lineup vs PSG
The biggest concern for Real Sociedad coming into the match is the availability of top scorer, Mikel Oyarzabal who has missed the last two matches with a muscle problem. The Spanish side have looked toothless up front without Oyzarzabal and he is a serious doubt for the match in Paris. Other injured players include Sheraldo Becker, Alvaro Odriozola, Carlos Fernandes, Aihen Munoz and Arsenal loanee, Kieran Tierney.
Remiro – Traore, Zubeldia, Le Normand, Galan – Mendez, Merino, Zubimendi, Mendez – Kubo, Barrenetxea, Sadiq
