A trip to the Truro Sports Hub, which only opened in 2024, is one that all non-league fans should try and tick off. Based in Cornwall’s only city, Truro, the location of the stadium means that it will be the furthest away day of the season for the majority of fans.
In addition to being located in one of the nicest parts of the United Kingdom, the stadium is also smart, clean and one of the best in non-league football. No home/away segregation is in place, meaning away fans are free to sit or stand where they like at the 3,000-seater arena.
There are only two stands at the Truro Sports Hub, one that runs down the north side of the pitch and another behind the east end goal. The main stand on the north side of the pitch is an all-seater, while the east end stand is a standing terrace.
Truro return home
In August 2024, Truro City ended their four-year absence from Cornwall when they played their first match at the Truro Sports Hub.
In the four years in between selling their former stadium at Treyew Road and playing their first match at the Truro Sports Hub, Truro City played the bulk of their matches at Plymouth Parkay’s Biltho Park. This was a 110-mile round trip from Truro, making it an impossible situation for supporters.
Things became even worse for the club during the 2023/24 season when they were forced to play at Gloucester City’s Tiger Turf Stadium, which is 200 miles away from Truro.
The return home was a welcome one and could trigger an upturn in fortunes on the pitch.
Truro City don’t have the biggest fanbase in the world, but their fans do try and build an atmosphere during home matches. Some of the generic chants that you can expect to hear at the Truro Sports Hub include:
- We all follow the Truro
- Come on Truro
- Super Truro City
- One Liam Eddy
As mentioned above, the Truro Sports Hub only has two stands in place at present, so options are limited when it comes to finding the ‘best view’.
In any case, the better of the two options is the Eden Hot Tubs Stand, which is considered the Main Stand at the stadium. The stand spreads across around half of the length of the pitch on one side and is opposite where the tunnel and dugouts are located.
The stand is mostly seated, and for the best view, fans should try and get as central and as high as possible. If you are too low down, then it can become difficult to follow what is happening on the pitch.
The other stand, the Aqua Road Eastern Stand, is located behind one of the goals and is where Truro recommend fans go if they want to have a sing-song. This stand is a terrace, meaning you will have to stand for the duration of the match if you go here.
Seating plan

There is no segregation in place in the area around the Truro Sports Hub, meaning visiting supporters are free to go in any pub they like the look of. Some of the best pubs in the local area include:
- William IV – Kenwyn St, Truro TR1 3DJ
- Fitzpatrick’s – 3-4 Quay St, Truro TR1 2HB
- The Old Ale House – 7 Quay St, Truro TR1 2HD
Truro City work with local food supplier, WAX events, to provide food and drink for supporters on matchdays. This includes two container bars, fully equipped with beers, cider and soft drinks. One is located in the Eden Hot Tubs North Stand, and the other is located directly opposite.
In terms of food, fans should head to the BBQ Aistream which is located right next to the latter of the aforementioned two container bars. Here, fans are able to buy burgers, hot dogs, fries, cheesy fries and dirty fries.
If you don’t fancy a BBQ, then we recommend that you grab something to eat in Truro before heading to the ground. Some of the best restaurants in Truro include:
- Lemon Tree – 6-7 Lemon St, Truro TR1 2LQ
- Hooked – Tabernacle St, Truro TR1 2EJ
- The Thomas Daniell – Infirmary Hill, Truro TR1 2DN
By car
Head down the A30 until you arrive at the Chiverton Cross Roundabout. Form here, take the A390 sinposted Truro and foollow the road down until you see signs for Langarth Park and Ride. Following these signs until you reach the Park and Ride – the stadium is located next door.
Parking at the stadium is free via the Langarth Park and Ride car park, regardless of whether the Park and Ride service is in operation or not.
By public transport
As the stadium is located right next to Langarth Park and Ride, it is very easy to get to it via public transport from the centre of Truro. Simply wait at the Truro bus station and get on the park and ride bus when it arrives.
The capacity at the Truro Sports Hub is 3,000, but there is plenty of scope for expansion work should the club start rising through the football pyramid and pick up more fans along the way. It has been built so that the capacity can rise to 4,000 with minimal work.
The chance for an away day in Cornwall is often an excuse for away supporters to make a weekend of their trip to Truro City. For those supporters who do decide to do this, here are some of the best things to do and see in Cornwall’s only city:
- Truro Cathedral
- The Royal Cornwall Museum
- Truro Ball
- Victoria Gardens
- Truro Farmer’s Market
Prior to their move to the Truro Sports Hub, Truro City played their home matches at Treyew Road, which also had a capacity of around 3,000.
Their tenure at Treyew Road came to an end in 2021, seven years after they had sold it. With no permanent ground to move into, Truro hopped around different stadiums for three years before moving into their brand new home at Truro Sports Hub.
Truro City ticket prices for the 2025/26 season are as follows:
- Adults – £15
- Concessions – £13
- Under-18s: £5
- Under-12s: £3
