“Although no arrests have been made at this stage, officers are working at pace to conduct forensic examinations and gather CCTV to identify and locate those responsible.”

Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant doorbell or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation.

The timing of the incident means investigators are likely to be examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area as they attempt to establish how the suspects approached and left the store.

Officers are yet to confirm the value or nature of any items taken from the shop.
