After a rotten season battling against relegation, Tottenham are hoping for a much more enjoyable campaign in 2026/27. Ahead of the serious stuff getting underway next month, Spurs will embark on a pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand to get the players fit and raring to go.

So far this summer, Tottenham have been the busiest Premier League club in terms of transfers, with the club's hierarchy determined to ensure that last season was just a blip. Several new players will be present in the Southern Hemisphere, making it an exciting trip for Tottenham fans.

First up on their tour is a trip to Auckland, where they will take on Auckland FC at Eden Park on 26 July. If you are heading down under for the match, here is everything you need to know.

How many Tottenham fans are going to Auckland?

It is impossible to know how many Tottenham fans will be in Auckland for the match as Spurs have not been allocated a specific area of the ground. No segregation will be enforced, meaning Auckland FC and Tottenham fans will mix throughout the stadium.

Eden Park's capacity is 50,000, and tickets are still available for the match, indicating it won't be a sellout. Although Spurs have had big fanbase in the Southern Hemisphere, it is still likely that there will be more Auckland FC fans in the stadium on matchday.

Where will Tottenahm fans sit at Eden Park

As touched on above, Tottenham fans have not been allocated a specific section inside Eden Park. There are still tickets available in all four stands at the stadium, with standard prices ranging from $59 to $159, which is not exactly cheap for a pre-season friendly.

Most Spurs fans are expected to purchase the category D $59 dollar tickets, which are situated in the lower tier in the South Stand.

Let's have it right, the majority of Tottenham fans travelling to New Zealand for this match are going more for the experience outside of the match rather than the game itself. Fortunately for them, there is plenty to do in Auckland.

In terms of pre-match festivities, the following places are all worth a visit

  • Panacea – 23 O'Connell Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
  • The Occidental – 6/8 Vulcan Lane, Auckland City, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
  • Slattery and Sons – 102 Quay Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand

How to get to Eden Park: Guide for Tottenham fans in Auckland

The easiest way to get to Eden Park is to use the rail network. Kingsland Station is right next to the stadium and can be accessed from several major stations in the area. Meanwhile, Morningside Station is also within walking distance.

From the city centre, fans can also board several buses to get to Eden Park. Look for services 24B, 24R, 22R, 22N, and 20, as all of these have stops within a five-minute walk of the stadium.
