While the international break is a cause of annoyance for thousands of football fans in the United Kingdom, it is a cause for celebration for those who follow England home and away.
The September international break has thrown up an exciting away trip for England fans, as they gear up to follow the Three Lions to Belgrade to see their team take on Serbia on Tuesday, 9 September.
As ever, these away trips are just as much about the socialising before and after the match as they are the 90 minutes of football. If you are an England fan heading to Belgrade for the match, here is everything you need to know.

How many England fans are going to Belgrade
Serbia gave the English FA an allocation of 2,500 England tickets for the match, and all of these are now sold.
However, due to the nature of the trip, how easy it is to get to from the United Kingdom and the cheap cost of beer in Belgrade, it is anticipated that there will be plenty of England fans out there without tickets.
England fans usually travel in large numbers, and due to their checkered past with police abroad, the Serbian authorities are more than likely anticipating upwards of 3,000 Brits descending on Belgrade on matchday.
The Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade has an allocation of 51,775, meaning England fans have been given just shy of 5% of the stadium's capacity.
Where will England fans sit at the Rajko Mitic Stadium
England fans will be located in blocks six and seven in the South Stand at the Rajko Mitic Stadium. The stand is locally known as the Tribuna Jug. The stand is considered one of the most intimidating in Europe, as it is extremely steep and the seats are packed closely together.
The away blocks are located on the left-hand side of the stand, but England fans will feel wedged in as there will be Serbian fans on either side.
Serbian fans are known for being extremely loud and colourful, so England supporters should expect fireworks, smoke bombs and flares on Tuesday night.
The view of the pitch from the away end isn't great, thanks in large to the running track that wraps around the perimeter of the playing surface.

Where to eat & drink for England fans in Belgrade
Serbia and England fans have clashed in the past, so to avoid any trouble, we would recommend that you avoid going off the beaten track and stick to popular touristy spots and try and stay with your group as much as possible.
As a result, we would recommend staying close to Republic Square, as this is not only the most central and busiest part of the city, but there are also plenty of streets just off the square packed with bars and restaurants
Some of the best bars in nearby to Republic Square in Belgrade include:
- Three Carrots (Kneza Miloša 16, Beograd 11000, Serbia)
- Spasicev Pub Belgrade (Nikole Spasića 1, Beograd 11000, Serbia)
- The United Pub (17 Beograd, Stari Grad 11108, Serbia)
How to get to the Rajko Mitic Stadium for England fans in Belgrade
The Rajko Mitic Stadium is located just over 3km from the centre of Belgrade, so some fans will choose to walk to it, provided the weather is okay. For those who would prefer public transport, you are in luck, for two reasons. One – there is plenty of it in Belgrade, and two – it's free!
The quickest route to the stadium via public transport is to use trams 9, 10 or 14 on the metro system and head towards Baniijca. Depart the tram at Oslobondeja and then take a short walk to the stadium. The Belgrade Trolleybus is another option if the metro is hammered.
