How many Rangers fans are going to Plzen?
At the time of writing, Rangers haven't confirmed their ticket allocation for the away match against Viktoria Plzen. However, based on UEFA regulations and what previous teams have received for away matches at the Doosan Arena, we can make an educated guess.
UEFA rules mean that Rangers are entitled to 5% of the stadium's allocation. As the Doosan Arena has a capacity of 11,700, Rangers will receive an allocation of at least 585 tickets.
However, Rangers are expected to receive slightly more than this due to the capacity of the Doosan Arena's away section, which is 627. This is also the number that fellow Scottish club Hearts received when they played at the stadium last season.
Regardless of the allocation, more than 627 Rangers fans are expected to travel to the Czech Republic for the match. Their fans usually travel in large numbers, with or without tickets, and that is expected to be the case again here.
Where will Rangers fans sit in the Doosan Arena?
Rangers fans are expected to sit in the dedicated away section at the Doosan Arena, which is located in the southeast corner of the stadium in blocks U12 and U13. The away section is next door to the area of the stadium where the Viktoria Plzen Ultras are located, so the atmosphere should be excellent.
