Euro 2024 has been a tournament that has put football fanfare back on the map on the international stage. After back-to-back World Cups in difficult-to-attend places and a European Championships played largely behind closed doors due to the Covid pandemic, Euro 2024 has shown Europe what football should all be about.
Fans from all corners of the continent have gathered in large numbers to attend the tournament in Germany and not a day has gone by without a stunning fan display, a stadium march or a creation of a new chant. Violence has been minimal, which has also helped to create the feel-good factor around the tournament.
Who have been the pest fans at Euro 2024, though? Our guide below runs through the top five fan groups at the tournament and clips to demonstrate why they've made the cut.
Best fans at Euro 2024 – Top five
England
England fans always travel well to major tournaments and although they have been caught up in violence in years gone by, they have largely behaved themselves at Euro 2024. What's more, they have also packed out stadiums and created brilliant atmospheres wherever they have been.
A highlight from England fans at Euro 2024 was the Dancing in the Dark anthem they have created for Phil Foden. The new song has been belted out in various cities and stadiums across Germany, helping England to become one of the noisiest fanbases at the tournament.

Scotland
Scotland fans may have only been in Germany for 10 days but they certainly made their presence felt. It is estimated that over 100,000 Scots were in the country for the tournament and by the time it came to their final match against Hungary in Stuttgart, even Germany fans were singing ‘No Scotland, No party'.
The Tartan Army may have only scored two goals at Euro 2024 but many would agree that they won the ‘battle of the anthems'. The renditions of Flower of Scotland at all three of their group matches were tingling and will be remembered for some time.

Netherlands
The Netherlands have travelled to Germany in large numbers for Euro 2024 and even outnumbered England inside Signal Iduna Park for the semi-final clash on Wednesday, 10 July. The famous Yellow Wall at Borussia Dortmund's stadium became the ‘Orange Wall' for the evening, and a sea of Orange followed the Netherlands everywhere they played.

Turkey
Turkey were one of the surprise packages at Euro 2024 and their fans were keen to ensure they made the most of their time at the tournament in Germany. Like Netherlands supporters, Turkey fans more or less took over several stadiums throughout the tournament and were particularly impressive in their Round of 16 victory over Austria.

Albania
Euro 2024 was Albania's second-ever appearance at the European Championships and their fans were keen to make the most of their time in Germany. They created a defeating noise inside Signal Iduna Park when their team scored the quickest goal in Euros history on Matchday One and followed that up by taking huge numbers everywhere they went.
