Best pubs to watch football in London – North

There are plenty of spots to watch football in North London, but the World’s End near Finsbury Park is a standout venue. The pub has a wide variety of HD screens as well as a projector, meaning you can watch the game wherever you are inside.

Food options inside the World’s End are also popular, especially the burgers, which are made by the guest kitchen, Red Dog Saloon. You can book a table for upcoming events on their website here.

Another standout venue is the Earl of Camden, which has a wide variety of big and small screens as well as a range of food and drink options. It is described as “the best-kept secret in Camden” and is definitely worth visiting if you want somewhere to watch the action. You can make a booking here.

The Lyric in Soho is worth visiting if you’re in the surrounding area. It is home to craft beers and ales, along with homemade pub classics every day of the week.

There are 33 taps behind the bar, with TV’s scattered around the venue to watch live matches. You can contact Lyric Soho on their website to enquire about booking a table.

The Dugout at Belushi’s Sports Bar near London Bridge is also a popular destination. There are other Belushi’s around London, including in Hammersmith, Greenwich and Camden.

Burgers are homemade at The Dugout, and there is a “mammoth choice” of different drinks on offer. There are a lot of screens inside, as well as two projectors to watch football. You can check out special deals and venue details here.

Best pubs to watch football in London – South

The Duke of Edinburgh is always busy for big matches, so if you’re looking for atmosphere, this is the place to go.

There are seven screens dotted across the venue, and tasty food options, including the mouthwatering jerk chicken. It is worth noting that the commentary for the game is only available inside at this venue. Take a look at “South London’s biggest and best beer garden” here.

In East Dulwich, The Actress is a popular destination to watch sport, with a beer garden that is open all year round. The handmade sourdough pizzas are also worth a try before, during, or after the match.

Notable mentions in South London must go to The Tap In and the Crown & Anchor
