Club World Cup Fan Zones: Where to watch matches if you don’t have a ticket

The FIFA Club World Cup will conclude this weekend, with the final set to take place between Chelsea and PSG at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, 13 July.

While tickets for the Club World Cup final are still available, Club World Cup fan zones have become particularly popular among spectators who do not go to the stadiums.

Several fan zones will be open for the final on Sunday, and our guide below provides you with all the key information about what you can expect to find in them.

Club World Cup fan zones: Key information

There have been official fan zones in each of the 11 host cities throughout the tournament, and it is expected that all 11 will show a public screening of the final on Sunday. One thing is for sure at this point: the fan zone in New Jersey, where the final will take place, will be open for all fans who don't have a ticket for the match.

Across the 11 fan zones in the United States, FIFA has been pulling out all the stops to ensure supporters are entertained. In addition to food and drink vendors, fans have been able to take part in a variety of activities such as VR penalty shootouts, tactical analysis booths, trivia contests and mini five-a-side matches. There have also been merchandise tents set up for anyone interested in memorabilia.

All fan zones across the US have been free to enter, and that will remain the case for the final. Supporters will be searched on entry, particularly those with bags.

Chelsea fan zone for the CWC final

Back in the United Kingdom, a Chelsea fan zone is being set up in London for the Club World Cup final on Sunday. The event will take place at the Steel Yard in London, and it is a ticketed event. Doors for the fan zone will open at 18:00 UK time, and there is capacity for up to 1,000 fans.

The organisers have said that the screening is strictly for Chelsea fans only and have promised attendees the biggest screen in London. In addition to a live screening of the match, the fan zone will feature live music from a DJ, food and drink kiosks, and special effects.
