Crystal Palace FA Cup parade: Dates, route and everything you need to know

On Saturday, 17 May, Crystal Palace made history when they defeated Man City in the FA Cup final to earn the club their first-ever major trophy.

It goes without saying that the day was a momentous one in the history of the club, and to mark the occasion, they have confirmed that they will be embarking on an open-top bus parade to celebrate the achievement with their supporters.

For all the key information on the Crystal Palace parade, including the dates, times and road closures, check out our guide below.

Crystal Palace FA Cup parade: Important information

The Crystal Palace FA Cup parade is set to take place on Monday, 26 May, in the streets of Croydon near Selhurst Park. The parade is scheduled to start at 12:45 on Whitehorse Lane in SE25 and the club are encouraging as many fans as possible to come along to join in the celebrations.

The full route for the Crystal Palace parade is as follows:

  • Whitehorse Lane,
  • Park Road
  • Holmesdale Road

The full parade route isn't as long as many supporters would have liked, and it will only last around 45 minutes. This pales in comparison to the Liverpool title parade happening on the same day in Merseyside, which is expected to last four hours.

The parade will end at Selhurst Park, where the celebration will then continue.

Post-parade celebrations

Following the conclusion of the open-top bus parade through Croydon, the players and staff will spill onto the pitch at Selhurst Park at 14:30, where more festivities will take place. Fans have been invited to join in with this celebration, however, tickets are required to get into the stadium.

Fans inside Selhurst Park can expect live entertainment, special guests, awards and another trophy lift of the FA Cup. Food and drink will also be on offer to supporters inside the stadium.

All tickets for this event are now sold out.
