Euro 2024 quarter final tickets: Prices and how to get

Euro 2024 is heating up and attention has turned to the quarter final stage of the tournament. Eight teams remain after an exciting round of 16 stage that saw everything from late comebacks to shock defeats to dramatic penalty shootouts.

The quarter final stage is often the point where tournament football becomes ‘serious'. At this point, teams know they are just two wins away from reaching the final and the end-to-end chaos that we've seen in many Euro 2024 matches so far will likely, and unfortunately, end.

With all four quarter-finals set to take place this weekend, you might be on a last-minute hunt for tickets. If so, here here is everything you need to know about how to get Euro 2024 quarter final tickets.

How to get Euro 2024 quarter final tickets

The Euro 2024 ticket ballot finished a few months before the tournament began, however, UEFA have kept back some tickets for the knockout stages which first went on sale for round of 16 matches when the group stages finished. The held-back tickets for the quarter finals are now being sold.

These tickets are known as ‘fans first' tickets and they are sold through individual football associations rather than the UEFA Euro 2024 ticket portal. For example, tickets for England's match against Switzerland are being sold directly through the English FA and the Swiss FA.

Each team competing in the quarter-finals has been given an allocation of 6,000 ‘fans first' tickets. How these tickets are distributed is entirely up to each individual association but the vast majority will sell them to supporters who have accrued the most loyalty points by attending previous fixtures.

  • Fans first: €60
  • Category 3: €100
  • Category 2: €200
  • Category 1: €300

All category 1-3 tickets have been sold for the quarter finals, which means only ‘fans first' tickets are available as explained above.

Euro 2024 quarter final resale tickets

UEFA's resale platform re-opened on 23 June to give people who can no longer attend matches during the knockout stages, the opportunity to sell their tickets to other fans. At the time of writing (3rd July), not tickets for the quarter-finals are available on this platform but it's worth regularly checking.

The resale system for Euro 2024 has come under fire in the past after thousands of fans were locked out of the online queue for the platform during the final sale prior to the tournament beginning.

Euro 2024 quarter finals – alternative methods

There is one other way to get Euro 2024 quarter final tickets, but it is going to cost you. Several third-party websites are selling tickets but at a price far greater than face value.

One of the most reputable third-party ticket platforms is StubHub. At present, they are advertising tickets for three of the quarter finals with no tickets available for England vs Switzerland. Again, your best chance of securing tickets is to regularly check the website for updates.
