Everton vs Mansfield Town: Latest ticket information, parking, transport and how to watch on TV

After christening their new stadium in style at the weekend, Everton will take on Mansfield Town in their second-ever match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this week.

The Carabao Cup clash is a big one for both clubs, as David Moyes will no doubt have his eyes set on bringing silverware to the club this season.

For Manfield fans, the chance to visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium is one they may never get again, so they should relish the trip to Merseyside.

Hill Dickinson Stadium parking for Everton vs Mansfield Town

One downside to the Hill Dickinson Stadium is that it doesn't have a major official car park. This means that fans are largely limited to using public transport, which comes with its own issues (more on that shortly).

The stadium does have a limited number of accessible car parking spaces, but these are now all occupied for the 2025/26 season.

If you still want to drive to the stadium, then your best bet is to use one of the city centre car parks and then make your way to the ground on foot or via local public transport.

There are several city centre car parks in Liverpool that are in close proximity to the 919 and 929 shuttle bus services, which take fans directly to the stadium.

Hill Dickinson Stadium evening transport information

There have been some concerns around how transport in and out of the Hill Dickinson Stadium will work for evening matches, and we will have a far better idea of how efficient it is after the match against Mansfield.

The most obvious train station to use to get out of the area after the match is Sandhills, which is a 15-minute walk away from the stadium. Over the summer, the council have developed a new pedestrian footbridge at Sandhills due to fears around capacity, and it will be open and in operation for the match against Mansfield.

After the match on Wednesday night, a new 15-minute timetable will be in operation on the Southport, Ormskirk, Hunts Cross, and Headbolt Lane lines. This should help ease the large queue times in and around the station.

If you want to avoid the potentially long wait at the Sandhills, there are other stations a little further away that you could walk to, notably Moorfields Station and Bank Hall Station.

Live streaming of the match is available via Sky Go, a streaming service that is available at no extra cost for all Sky subscribers.

Best pub and food options ahead of Everton vs Manfield Town

There are plenty of food and drink options at the stadium itself, which means a lot of fans will choose to get inside the ground earlier than normal. The five food vendors that can be found inside the concourses at the Hill Dickinson Stadium are as follows:

  • Dockyard Kitchen – Sausage rolls, hot dogs, pies, blue toffee doughnuts
  • Flightbirds – Chicken, chips, salt and pepper, alcohol
  • Corner slice pizza – Square pizza
  • Through pass – Pies, sausage rolls, loaded roasties, alcohol
  • Pit and pickle – Burgers, crispy fries, alcohol

For fans who prefer to drink away from the stadium before kick-off, there are countless options in the city centre. Some of the best pubs within walking distance of the Hill Dickinson Stadium include:

  • Queen's Head – At the stadium
  • The Slaughter House – 13-15 Fenwick St, Liverpool L2 7LS
  • Ma Boyle's Alehouse – Tower Bldg, 7 Tower Gardens, Liverpool L3 1LG
