Tony Cottee has recently described Everton's new home as the “the best purpose-built football stadium in the country”.
On a recent trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium the former Toffee striker, who was visiting the new stadium for the first time, admitted he was blown away by the waterfront ground.
Cottee told how it was the right time for the club to move grounds and hopes that it will elevate them to the next level.
What else did Tony Cottee think?

Speaking to the club on a whistle-stop tour north, Cottee also added that it was important that the stadium was built for football.
Although admitting that it was good for the club to use the stadium for other events he noted how he believed it was important that football remained the main priority.
Goodison Park served as a great home for Everton for many years but many believed it was the right time to move to a more modern ground.
The Londoner added: “The Club had to move on. Goodison was a great servant for the Football Club, but football's changed, the world's changed and we're now in the 21st century and I think Everton had to make the move, they really did.
“Hopefully by making this move, they can do what we all want, which is for them to compete.”
FGG says: New stadium is one of the best
It is hard to disagree with the 309-goal striker's claim that the Hill Dickinson Stadium is the best purpose-built football ground in the United Kingdom.
The move to their new stadium has seen the club have room for 13,355 more fans than before and looks like a great platform to host European matches, should Everton qualify in the future.
The design process of the stadium has always had the fans at the forefront of their mind anda contributing factor in why it already stands out as one of the best in the country.
They have been able to make it one of the loudest sporting grounds in the world by placing fans close to the pitch, adding steep stands an acoustically tuned roof space that only backs up what Tony Cottee has been saying.
The Hill Dickinson is a world-class stadium and now the club must find a team to match their new home.
