It’s been a long road back for one of the Premier League’s most expensive signings.
But after months out of sight, forgotten Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has finally been spotted back on the pitch – just not where many expected.
Why is Mykhailo Mudryk currently training at a non-league stadium?
Mudryk has not featured in competitive action since December 2024 after being suspended from football.
The Ukrainian, who cost a whopping £88 million, has remained largely out of the public eye, with uncertainty surrounding both his situation and any potential return date.
Now, however, the Blues' wide man has resurfaced, training at non-league outfit Uxbridge FC, who play in the Southern League Premier Division South.
Based in Yiewsley, less than an hour from Chelsea's Cobham training ground, the non-league stadium provided the backdrop for a social media clip showing Mudryk curling a stunning left-footed strike in off the post.

Despite his time away from professional football, the 24-year-old looked sharp and physically in strong condition.
A previous message sent on New Year’s Day hinted at optimism, thanking fans for their support and insisting he has not given up on himself, adding: “Can’t wait to see you soon.”
FGG says: Mykhailo Mudryk's future at Chelsea is still far from certain
Mudryk’s individual training is an encouraging sign, but it does little to clarify when, or even if, he will feature again at Stamford Bridge.
Until there is concrete clarity on his suspension and match fitness at the elite level, his long-term role at Chelsea remains firmly up in the air.
