Grimsby Town vs Man Utd latest ticket information and office details

Unsurprisingly, all Grimsby Town vs Man Utd tickets sold out very quickly after the draw was made. Blundell Park only has a capacity of 9,052, but this will be the first time this season that a match here will be played in front of a capacity crowd.

Manchester United were handed an away allocation of 1,200 tickets for the match, and these were sold to eligible season ticket holders.

In the days leading up to the match, Grimsby released a statement saying that they had discovered several Man Utd fans had purchased tickets in the home end. These tickets have now been cancelled and redistributed to Grimsby fans on the waiting list.

The 1,200 Man Utd fans in attendance at Blundell Park will be based in the Osmond Stand behind one of the goals at the stadium. The stand is quite an old-school one with supporting pillars running through it, so some Man Utd fans will have to deal with an obstructed view of the action on the pitch.

The stand was built in 1939 and has remained largely untouched ever since. It can accommodate up to 1888 supporters, meaning it will be shared with home supporters on the night, which usually results in plenty of back and forth between both sets of fans.

One interesting fact that Man Utd fans might want to know about Blundell Park is that it is the lowest altitude stadium in England.

Grimsby Town vs Man Utd TV channel, live stream and kick-off time

Grimsby Town vs Man Utd has unsurprisingly been selected for live TV coverage for the second round of the Carabao Cup. The match is being shown live on both ITV and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, meaning fans are able to watch it on free-to-air television.

Live streaming of the match will be available through Sky Go, for Sky Sports subscribers, and ITVX for anyone in the United Kingdom with a television license. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 UK time.

Shortly after the match, highlights will be uploaded to the Sky Sports and ITV YouTube channels, while Man Utd will also publish their own on their social media channels.
