Manchester United's pre-season tour will begin next week when the Red Devils travel to Finland to take on Wrexham at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Tickets for the match are still on sale, but a bumper crowd is expected for the visit of United.
Although the majority of people in attendance are expected to be locals, there are also United fans travelling over to Helsinki for the match. After a year of no European football, the travelling Reds are clearly eager to get back on the road.
If you are going to the match, our guide below runs through everything you need to know to ensure your trip to Helsinki is a good one.
How many Man Utd fans are going to Helsinki?
There is no way of being able to give an exact figure on the number of Manchester United fans that will attend the match against Wrexham. As it is a friendly, fans will be able to mix with each other and sit where they like in the stadium.
At the same time, United fans have been given a designated end, should supporters want to sit with fellow Reds. This allocation covers blocks F1-F13, which is around one-third of the stadium's capacity of 36,251.
Assuming United fill this end with UK-based and international supporters, then there will be around 12,000 United fans in the stadium for the match. It is not outside the realm of possibility that United fans take up seats in other parts of the stadium, too. After all, their fanbase is significantly larger than Wrexham's.
Where will Man Utd fans sit at the Aspmyra Stadion
As touched on above, Man Utd fans will be able to sit where they like at the Helsinki National Stadium. However, they are being pushed towards blocks F1-F13. Meanwhile, Wrexham fans have been given blocks B8-B11 in the opposite end, so United fans should perhaps avoid these areas.
The view from blocks F1-F13 is generally okay, but the running track that wraps around the perimeter of the pitch is a problem. The running track means that the pitch feels a large distance away from the stands, which typically has an impact on the view and atmosphere.
The impact of the running track is felt least on the sides, so given that you can buy tickets anywhere, perhaps consider sitting in either the West or East Stand.

How to get to the Helsinki Olympic Stadium: Guide for Man Utd fans in Helsinki
The quickest way to get to the Helsinki Olympic Stadium is to use the city's metro system. The closest tram stop to the stadium is Toolon Kisahalli, which is just a five-minute walk away. Fans can arrive at this station by taking either line four or line 10 from the centre.
The stadium is walkable from Helsinki Central Railway Station, too, so if you are travelling from outside the city, then just head here and then take a 20-minute stroll to the ground.
