Arsenal's new long-term partnership with Emirates could provide the club with a major financial boost as they consider further improvements to their North London home.
The deal is worth potentially hundreds of millions of pounds and could give the Gunners greater financial flexibility to modernise and expand the Emirates Stadium.
Emirates deal will help Arsenal upgrade the stadium
Arsenal have extended their partnership with Emirates until 2033, with the agreement covering front-of-shirt, training kit and stadium naming rights.
The new terms represent an increase on the previous £45 million-a-year agreement, with former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness suggesting the overall value could reach around £500 million across the duration of the deal.
Wyness believes the agreement is particularly important given the changing sponsorship landscape in the Premier League, with clubs facing restrictions on gambling sponsorships and increasing scrutiny around other industries.
He praised the Gunners' commercial team for securing what he described as a “quality” long-term partner while suggesting the additional revenue could help fund improvements to the Emirates.
Arsenal are understood to be considering a redevelopment of the stadium which could eventually take its capacity beyond 70,000, potentially making it the largest football stadium in London.
The Emirates currently holds around 60,700 supporters, meaning any significant expansion would require a substantial investment.

FGG says: Emirates deal gives Arsenal another route to improving their home
A £500 million partnership is a huge commercial win for Arsenal and while that money will not all be ring-fenced for stadium improvements, it gives the club significantly greater financial flexibility.
The Emirates has already become one of the Premier League's biggest stadiums, but increasing capacity would allow the Premier League champions to generate even more matchday revenue while improving the experience for supporters.
If the club can use this deal as part of a wider funding package, an Emirates expansion could become a realistic long-term project rather than simply an ambition.
