One of the most hotly anticipated pre-season friendlies of the summer will take place at Croke Park on Wednesday, 12 August, when Manchester United take on Leeds.
The match is already a sell-out, with supporters of both clubs securing their tickets back in April.
Although there is no love lost between both sets of fans, there isn't expected to be much animosity in Dublin on matchday, given that it's just a friendly.
If you are heading to the match, you are going to need to know how to get to Croke Park. Luckily, there are a few different options, as we detail below.

How to get to Croke Park
On foot
Croke Park is located to the north of the city centre but is close enough to walk. The total walking time from the centre of Dublin to the stadium is around 25-30 minutes depending on whereabouts you are. From the centre, head north up O'Connell Street, continue onto Dorset Street Lower, turn right onto North Circular Road, and turn left onto Jones' Road.
By train
The closest railway station to Croke Park is Drumcondra, which is around a 10-minute walk away. Drumcondra has direct service to and from Dublin Connolly Station in the city centre, which runs every 20-30 minutes. The total journey time is just four minutes.
Dublin Connolly is the busiest train station in Ireland, and has links to all other major cities in the country, so getting here shouldn't be an issue, regardless of where you are coming from.
By luas
Some fans may use the Dublin Luas system to get to Croke Park. The Luas system is the city's tram network, and the nearest Luas stations are Connolly on the Red Line, Parnell on the Green Line and Marlborough on the Green Line. All three of these stations are around a 15-minute walk away from Croke Park.
By DART
The Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) service is an overground rail service that runs north-south along the coast of Dublin Bay. Fans can use DART to get to Croke Park, with the nearest stations being Connolly (15-minute walk) and Clontarf (20-minute walk).
By car

From the centre of Dublin, follow signs for the N1 North onto Dorset Street and Drumcondra Road. At the railway bridge overpass on Drumcondra Road, turn right onto Clonliffe Road. Continue past the next set of traffic lights and turn right onto St Joseph’s Avenue for the Cusack stand entrance. Free car parking is available in the Cusack Car Park.
