How are League One fixtures decided?

The process takes a number of months, with the EFL and their ‘Fixtures Working Party' liaising with all clubs across their five leagues to compile the schedule.

During that time, they carefully consider requests and operational requirements from the clubs in a bid to please all parties. It is also worth noting that supporter groups are represented on the EFL's ‘Fixtures Working Party'.
