Lincoln City get green light for Sincil Bank redevelopment plans
Lincoln City have been granted approval for three key redevelopment projects at Sincil Bank following their League One title success.
The plans include a new expanded fanzone and event space, a community cafe, and upgraded stadium screens, which are all aimed at modernising the ground and improving the matchday experience.
The headline development will see a new covered fan and hospitality area built behind the Rilmac Stand.

This space will feature a large bar designed to ease congestion on busy matchdays, while also doubling as a multi-use venue capable of hosting conferences and private events for up to 350 people.
Elsewhere, the Imps are set to revamp their Fan Village by relocating it to the south-east corner of the stadium, where supporters will find new interactive areas and additional big screens.
Inside the ground, a new stadium screen and upgraded PA system will bring the overall presentation more in line with the demands of Championship football.
The club have also received approval for a new community cafe, “The Huddle”, which will operate throughout the week and strengthen links between the club and local residents.
FGG says: It's a great time to be a Lincoln fan right now
This is exactly what fans will want to see after promotion.
Too often, clubs focus solely on what happens on the pitch, but Lincoln are clearly thinking bigger than that.
These upgrades might not be headline-grabbing individually, but together they are improving the fan experience while also creating new revenue streams.
Timing is everything, and Lincoln could not have picked a better moment to push these plans forward.
Winning the league brings momentum, optimism and increased demand, and now the infrastructure is being put in place to match it.
