Manchester is set to host some of the biggest World Cup fan events in Europe this summer.

And tickets are already on sale for several of the city’s biggest venues.

What you need to know about 2026 World Cup fan zones in Manchester this summer

Fans who are not travelling to the 2026 World Cup in North America will still have plenty of options to watch the tournament in Manchester.

The biggest event is the new We Are Football Festival at Freight Island and Depot Mayfield, which organisers claim will be Europe’s largest World Cup fan park.

The festival, run by 4TheFans and Broadwick, will have capacity for up to 15,000 supporters and will run throughout the tournament from June 11 to July 19.

It will include giant anti-glare screens, DJs, live entertainment, food and drink, plus appearances from football legends and Sky Sports presenters.

Early bird tickets are already on sale from £4.50.

The venue will be open for all of England’s matches, including group games against Croatia, Ghana and Panama.

There will also be a Footy Fun Village, family areas and late-night entertainment after matches.

Other Manchester venues are also planning major World Cup screenings.

AO Arena will once again host its Road to Victory fan zone after similar events during Euro 2024 and Euro 2025.

Meanwhile, Courts Club will show all of England’s matches plus selected games throughout the tournament.

Amber's at Circle Square is also holding World Cup events with live music, DJs and afterparties, with tickets starting from £10.

FGG says: A brilliant alternative for fans not making the trip

Not everyone can afford to head to the United States, Canada or Mexico for the 2026 World Cup.

With ticket prices, flights and hotels costing a fortune, fan zones like these are likely to be the next best thing.

Manchester seems determined to make the most of the tournament and create a proper atmosphere across the city.

For supporters staying in the UK, these events could provide some of the best places to watch England this summer.
