Nick Woltemade was the man Newcastle chose to replace Alexander Isak, with the Magpies spending a club record fee of £65m for the German striker at the end of the summer window.
While Woltemade largely went under the radar in the Bundesliga, with only one strong season under his belt for Stuttgart as he scored 12 goals in 28 appearances last term, there is plenty of expectation on his shoulders given that he is tasked with replacing the goals scored by Isak.
Newcastle fans have welcomed Woltemade with open arms, and after a promising start to the campaign for the Magpies, they already have a new chant for the big man. For the lyrics, video and more information on the Woltemade chant, read on.

Nick Woltemade chant lyrics and tune
The Nick Woltemade chant is a familiar one in English football, as the tune used for the song is the same one used when teams win a competition. To the tune of ‘Campeones Campeones, Ole, Ole, Ole', the lyrics are simply:
Woltemade, Woltemade, Ole, Ole, Ole
Woltemade alternative chant
While the Woltemade chant listed above was the one Newcastle fans elected to sing on the German's debut at St James' Park, it isn't the only one in circulation. A video of Newcastle fans singing a different Woltemade chant surfaced on social media shortly after it was revealed that the club were signing the 23-year-old.
This alternative chant was to the tune of ‘Sway' by Dean Martin; the lyrics are as follows:
You can hear them crying in Munich,
Woltemade is here to win,
One chat with Eddie Howe, and he said wow,
Fu** off, Isak, you're a daft cu** now,
La la la la

FGG says: Simple but effective
Sometimes the simplest of the chants are the best, and this Woltemade campeones chant certainly fits into that bracket. The other effort, which is a complete rip-off of the Liverpool chant for Federico Chiesa, would be best forgotten about.
