Oasis have dropped a major hint that they are set to play a series of shows at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
The Manchester band reunited in 2024 and went on a major world tour the following year, which began with a series of UK shows and ended in South America.

Oasis have been teasing a new tour in 2027, with lead guitarist Noel Gallagher recently telling talkSPORT: “Well, let's put it this way: there's no football tournament on next year, so we've got to do summer in the summer, right?”
The band have now shared a video on social media which suggests they are set to play a number of gigs at the Etihad Stadium next year.
In the clip, two boys can be seen playing football against the back of a house.
One boy tallies up the number of goals scored, writing 11 on the wall in chalk before going in goal and facing a shot from the other.
Eagle-eyed fans also spotted a blue crescent moon in the video, speculating that it is a reference to the song Blue Moon which has become Manchester City's anthem.

Fans also suggested the number 11 is a nod to the Etihad's M11 postcode, while others suggested it means the band will play 12 gigs at the ground as the video ends with a 12th goal being scored.
“12 nights in Manchester. 11 on the wall and then the lad scores the 12th with the goal,” one wrote.
Another wrote: “Blue moon, Football – Man City M11 – Etihad Postcode Tally – 11 + Last goal wasn’t on the tally 12 Nights at the Etihad”.
It has previously been reported by the Sun that Oasis are set to announce a 12-date residency at the Etihad and six concerts at Knebworth, with an insider telling the newspaper in July: “Oasis’ schedule is booked.
“It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that’s the master plan.”

Both Noel and Liam are huge Manchester City fans and Oasis played two memorable concerts at Maine Road in 1996, the club's former stadium, so it comes as no surprise that the band is set for a residency at the Etihad.
More than 30 years on from those Maine Road shows, fans are understandably excited about the prospect of seeing Oasis at the Etihad and their residency is sure to be memorable.
