On Thursday, 17 April, Man Utd will take on Lyon at Old Trafford in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie.
After the first leg finished 2-2, it's all to play for in Manchester with both sides needing the win to keep hopes of any silverware this season alive.
In a bid to boost the atmosphere on Thursday night, Man Utd have worked with fan groups to create the first-ever Old Trafford tifo. This large banner will be raised from the bottom of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand up to the roof as the players walk out of the tunnel, in the hope of inspiring a good performance and an important victory.
While the club have previously used surfer flags in the Stretford End before big matches, this is the first time that a tifo will be used at Old Trafford, indicating just how desperate they are to keep what has been a dire season alive.

What will the Old Trafford tifo look like?
Man Utd are keeping the design of the tifo under wraps and only a select number of people have seen what it looks like, including members of key fan groups and the club captain, Bruno Fernandes. The hope is that the secretive nature of the design will make it more impactful on matchday.
Aston Villa have used tifos throughout their Champions League campaign while clubs across Europe use them frequently. Typically, tifos are quite arty and relate to the club's emblem/mascot in some way so it wouldn't be a surprise to see a devil at the forefront on Thursday night.

The club have also announced that pyrotechnics will be used on either side of the tifo so those in attendance at Old Trafford can expect plenty of colour on Thursday night.
Some fans have taken to social media to create mock versions of the tifo, with new Man Utd ticketing policies relating to ID checks at the front and centre in a jibe at INEOS.

FGG says: It can't do any harm
British football fans often fawn over the tifos and displays seen across Europe and Aston Villa have done a good job of theirs throughout their Champions League campaign so there's no harm in Man Utd trying to jump on the bandwagon. The issue is, if the design is bad and/or if Lyon come out victorious, then it could just be used as yet another stick to beat the club with in the coming weeks.
