Richarlison has been a Tottenham player since the summer of 2022, when he signed for the club for £50m from fellow Premier League side, Everton.

Although his Tottenham career has been up and down, a large part of the club's fanbase do have a soft spot for the Brazilian. As such, the Richarlison chant is frequently heard at Spurs games, particularly away from home.

For more information on the chant, including the tune it is sung to and the lyrics, check out our guide below.

Richarlison chant lyrics and tune

The Tottenham Richarlison chant is to the tune of ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy' by Manfred Mann, and the lyrics are as follows:

Singing do wah diddy, diddy dum diddy do,

Tottenham’s new Brazilian wearing white and blue,

He looks good,

He looks fine,

Richarlison is on my mind, and he’s Tottenham’s number 9

Singing do wah diddy, diddy dum diddy do

Everton's Richarlison chant

The Tottenham Richarlison chant is different to the one that Everton fans used to sing about him when he played for the Toffees. The Everton Richarlison chant was sung to the tune of ‘She's Electric' by Oasis. The lyrics to this chant were as follows:

He's Brazilian,

He only cost 50 million,

And we think he's f*cking brilliant,

Richarlison

Now that Oasis are back together and creating headlines across the world, could Tottenham be inspired to bring this Richarlison back to the English terraces?

FGG says: A decent effort, but not on par with the Everton version

The Tottenham Richarlison chant is a decent enough football chant, but it isn't on the same level as the Oasis-inspired Everton version. Some Tottenham fans have tried to sing this chant themselves, but the fact that it was created by another fanbase doesn't always sit well with matchgoing fans.
