Sunderland have moved to reassure supporters after problems with their new account system caused significant disruption at the Stadium of Light ticket office.
The club has now confirmed the technical issues have been resolved, although staff are still working through a backlog of enquiries from affected fans.
Sunderland's new ticket system issues are now resolved
The Black Cats introduced a new club account system last week as part of an effort to streamline access to ticketing and other club services.
However, the rollout caused problems for a number of supporters, with some unable to access their accounts while others were reportedly linked to the wrong Supporter ID despite using the same email address.
The issues led to large queues forming outside the Stadium of Light ticket office this week as fans sought help resolving their accounts ahead of the new season.
Sunderland have now confirmed the technical problems have been fixed and their ticketing team is working through the remaining enquiries.

The club said, via the Sunderland Echo: “Technical account access issues which arose last week have now been resolved and the ticketing team are continuing to work through the backlog of enquiries.”
Sunderland also moved to reassure supporters that their account history, Black Cats Points and ability to purchase Europa League tickets had not been affected.
Fans who are still unable to access their accounts have been directed to submit a request through the club's ticketing and memberships help centre.
Tickets have also now gone on sale for the Roker End ahead of Saturday's final pre-season friendly against Stade Rennais.
FGG says: Sunderland need to make sure this is the end of the problems
It is good news that Sunderland have resolved the technical issues, but the queues outside the Stadium of Light show how disruptive a ticketing problem can be for supporters.
Hopefully the backlog is cleared quickly and fans can head into the new season without any further issues.
