Valencia have unveiled the latest step in their long-awaited Nou Mestalla project by launching an exclusive new hospitality initiative designed to showcase the commercial potential of the club's future 70,000-seat home.

The La Liga club have introduced the Silver Club, a new premium hospitality product that allows supporters to purchase individual seasonal hospitality seats at the Nou Mestalla ahead of its planned opening in the summer of 2027.

The launch marks another significant milestone for a stadium project that is finally gathering momentum after construction resumed in January 2025 following a 16-year delay.

The initiative is part of Valencia's wider strategy to maximise year-round revenue from the new stadium while attracting supporters and corporate clients before the venue officially opens.

What does Valencia's new Silver Club offer?

Unlike traditional hospitality packages aimed at businesses, the Silver Club has been created for individual supporters looking for a more premium matchday experience.

Seasonal members will receive a halfway-line seat on either the east or west side of the stadium, along with access to exclusive hospitality lounges and a catering service before, during and after matches.

The product will be sold through season-long contracts and forms part of a broader hospitality programme being delivered by Legends Global, the company leading commercial sales for the Nou Mestalla.

Food and beverage operations at the new stadium will be managed by Aramark, while Valencia has already begun recruiting leisure and restaurant operators for the development.

The Nou Mestalla's hospitality offering is expected to include five premium spaces that will remain operational throughout the year rather than only on matchdays, reinforcing the club's ambition to transform the stadium into a major entertainment destination.

Nou Mestalla project enters a decisive phase

The launch comes as construction continues on Valencia's new 70,044-capacity stadium, which is scheduled to replace the historic Mestalla from the 2027-28 season.

After years of financial uncertainty left the project abandoned for more than a decade, work finally restarted in early 2025 following the club securing more than €320m (£273m) in financing.

Since then, Valencia has also appointed key commercial partners, pursued a naming-rights agreement and invested heavily in the stadium's technology infrastructure.

While visible progress continues on the stadium itself, the wider regeneration project remains equally important. Valencia still faces infrastructure work around the site before supporters can move into the venue, making the next 12 months one of the most important periods in the project's history.

The club hopes the Nou Mestalla will become one of Europe's leading football venues, combining increased capacity with modern hospitality, commercial spaces and year-round events that generate significantly greater revenue than the current Mestalla.

FGG says: Hospitality is becoming just as important as capacity

Building a bigger stadium is only part of the equation in modern football. Clubs now generate huge sums through premium seating, hospitality and non-matchday experiences, making initiatives like Silver Club just as important as adding thousands of extra seats.

For Valencia, the launch also sends another encouraging message. After years of delays and uncertainty, the focus has shifted from simply finishing the stadium to preparing it for business.

If the Nou Mestalla opens on schedule in 2027, these early commercial initiatives should ensure it begins life as a fully functioning entertainment venue rather than just a new football ground.
