Manchester United supporters delivered a heartfelt message to Casemiro after his goal helped secure a 2-1 win over Brentford at Old Trafford.

With uncertainty surrounding his future, the moment quickly turned into something more than just another match-winning contribution.

Watch as Man Utd fans ask Casemiro to stay for one more year

Following the final whistle, United fans broke into a loud and emotional chant of “one more year” directed at Casemiro, who appeared visibly moved by the reception.

The Brazilian had opened the scoring early on, nodding home from close range after a headed assist from Harry Maguire. Benjamin Sesko then doubled the lead before half-time, with Bruno Fernandes providing his 19th assist of the season.

While the performance itself was important, as it moved United closer to securing Champions League qualification, the post-match scenes stole the spotlight.

Casemiro lingered on the pitch at full-time, acknowledging supporters as the chant rang around Old Trafford, fuelling speculation that this could have been one of his final appearances at the ground.

FGG says: Casemiro looked emotional at full-time

This felt like more than just appreciation, as it had the tone of a possible farewell.

Casemiro has been a hugely influential figure since arriving, and while his role has evolved, moments like this show just how much he still means to supporters.

The emotion on his face suggested he understood the significance, too.

If this does turn out to be his final chapter at Old Trafford, it was a fitting one – a goal, a win, and a crowd making it clear they’re not quite ready to say goodbye.
