England are preparing for their World Cup round of 32 clash with DR Congo, and for the fans in the USA, it is a first opportunity to visit the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Home to the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, the stadium has a capacity of 71,000. It is one of the few World Cup host stadiums that is regularly used by an MLS side.

Away from the stadium, Atlanta has plenty to offer England supporters. While it's famously the home of Coca-Cola, England fans are expected to have something a little stronger than a soft drink in hand on Wednesday.

Brewhouse Cafe

Brewhouse Cafe can be found in the Little Five Points neighbourhood in Atlanta, and in 2025, it was voted the best soccer sports bar in the United States by Men in Blazers. Considering there are tens of thousands of sports bars in the US, this is quite the accolade, so it is worth going just to see what all the fuss is about.

The Irish Exit

If you like Guinness, this is the place you are going to want to visit. Located in the Olympic Park, this pub is also in walking distance of the stadium, which gives it bonus points. On the flip side, it does get very busy before and after matches, so arrive early to avoid being turned away.

Park Bar

Park Bar has officially been named the Best Sports Bar in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine, and it has long been established as one of the best places to go for a bite to eat and a few scoops for a match at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Restaurant 10

Located opposite the stadium, Restaurant 10 is ideal for those who want to sample some classic southern cuisine, from turkey ribs and hot honey wings to traditional collard greens. The convenience of eating here is also a huge plus point, but it also makes it difficult to get in.

Paschal's

Paschal's is also within walking distance of the stadium, around half a mile away and is well worth considering. It has been open since 1947 and also serves up classic Southern dishes and desserts, including peach cobblers.

Utopia Restaurant

If you are looking for something a little more upmarket, then Utopia is a great shout. It provides Latin fusion dining in a setting that will blow you away. The cocktails here are also worth checking out, but be prepared to pay top dollar.
