England's second match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place on Tuesday, 23 June at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

While thousands of England fans will be in attendance at the match, millions more will be watching back home in pubs, bars and fan zones across England.

If you are planning on watching England vs Ghana in Manchester, here are the best options available to you.

Northern Quarter

Tib Street Tavern

The Tib Street Tavern is one of the most popular sports bars in the whole of Manchester, never mind the Northern Quarter. The bar is spread over two floors, with the basement possessing the biggest of the countless screens dotted around the venue. This place fills up quickly and doesn't always accept bookings, so arrive early if you want a seat.

Address: 74 Tib St, Manchester M4 1LG

Deansgate

BOX

There are several BOX sports bars dotted around the United Kingdom, but the one on Deansgate in Manchester is considered one of the best. It is spread across two floors and has screens everywhere you look. BOX do accept bookings, but they also leave plenty of space for walk-ins. The food here is also worth checking out if you arrive early enough.

Address: 125 Deansgate, Manchester M3 2BY

Spinningfields

Courts Club

Courts Club is an excellent place to watch England matches in Manchester, particularly this week with the weather being as nice as it is. The outdoor area is what makes this place so good, with plenty of space for fans and several huge screens. There is also an indoor area for those who can't secure a spot in the beer garden.

Cholrton

The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak is more of an old-fashioned type of pub rather than a modern sports bar, but they still do a good job of making it a good venue for live sport. With order-from-the-table available across the venue, and a decent food menu, this is a decent spot outside of the city centre.

Address: 440 Barlow Moor Rd, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 0BQ

Didsbury

The Fletcher Moss

The Fletcher Moss is a pub that doesn't look much from the outside, but on the inside, it is one of the smartest bars in all of Didsbury. The outdoor area is also surprisingly big, making this an excellent place to watch the football on a warm summer's evening, which is what we are expecting on Tuesday when England face Ghana.

Address: 1 William St, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6RQ

Salford Quays

The Salmon of Knowledge

Salford Quays is expected to be extremely popular this week due to the sunny weather, and the best place to watch live sport around here is the Salmon of Knowledge. Overlooking the water at Salford Quays, the Salmon of Knowledge has a huge bar with a wide selection of lagers, ales and other alcoholic beverages on offer.

Address: Dock House, MediaCity UK, Salford M50 2EQ

Old Trafford

The Quadrant

Located around one mile from Old Trafford football stadium, the Quadrant is regarded as the best place to watch live sport in the area. It is big enough to accommodate large groups, while it also has an outdoor area for any overspill.

Address: 67 Great Stone Rd., Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M32 8GR

Sale

Block and Gaskett

The Block and Gaskett is one of the best sports bars outside the city centre, located in Sale, around 15 minutes from the centre on the Metrolink. Featuring a vast food menu, special drink offers and pool tables, this bar is a great option if you want a city-centre style sports bar in a quieter environment.

Address: 11-13 School Rd, Sale M33 7XY

Altrincham

Libero

This is the smallest sports bar on this list by some distance, but that doesn't mean to say that Libero isn't worth visiting. If you are after a smaller, more intimate viewing experience in one of the nicest parts of Altrincham, then you cannot go wrong here. Just make sure you arrive early to ensure you get in, as spaces do fill up quickly.

Address: 2A, Kings Court, Railway St, Altrincham WA14 2RE
