Ferrycarrig Park is a very open ground that just has one good sized stand. This Main Stand on the North side of the ground, is a fair sized cover seated stand, that contains around 600 seats. The stand is of a temporary nature and has a number of small supporting pillars running along its front. The other three sides of Ferrycarrig Park are made up of open flat standing areas. There is a quite a fair amount of space between the pitch and the ground perimeter, which has allowed the Club to bring in additional temporary seated stands, for some of the bigger games. Behind the Clubhouse End, there are a number of buildings which house the Club offices, changing rooms and supporters bar. Whilst half way along the South side of the ground, sat back from pitch side, is an elevated television gantry. The team dugouts are also located on this side of the ground. The ground is completed with a set of four tall floodlight pylons.

On the rare occasion that fans are segregated at Ferrycarrig Park, then visiting supporters are given the East End of the stadium. This consists of a flat standing area running along this end, as well as extending around two corners of the ground, to include some further flat standing areas along both sides. If your team is expected to bring a sizeable following then you may want to arrive early to ensure a good view. A mobile catering unit selling the usual football fayre of burgers, hot dogs, chips etc.. is provided for away fans. These standing areas have no cover, so hope that it doesn’t rain.

There is a fair sized clubhouse bar at the ground, which welcomes visiting supporters. Due to the rural location of the stadium, there isn’t much else around. So if arriving in Wexford it may be an idea to grab a drink there before moving onto Ferrycarrig Park.

Ferrycarrig Park is located to the North of Wexford, just under 7km from Wexford Town Centre.

From the South
Take the N11 from Wexford towards Dublin. After going over the bridge over the estuary, then just over 1km further on, turn left onto the L3007 towards Newcastle. Continue along the L3007 for 1.5km and then turn right (on your left on the L3007 set back from the road there are three good sized houses, one of which has a brick entrance to the driveway, turn right here). Further up this road on the right is the entrance to Ferrycarrig Park. There is a fair sized car park at the stadium which is free.

From the West
Follow the N25 towards Wexford. On nearing Wexford you will reach a roundabout that is a junction with the N11. Take the first exit onto the N11 towards Dublin. Thens as From the South.

From the North
Follow the N11 towards Wexford. After passing through Enniscorthy, then around 21km further South on the N11, you will pass on the right the floodlights of Ferrycarrig Park. After a further half a kilometre take the next right hand turn signposted Newcastle L3007. Then as From the South.

The nearest railway station is Wexford (O Hanrahan), which is located just under 8km from Ferrycarrig Park. As it is too far to walk then it may be best to take a taxi up to the ground and then book one for your return. The Club often lay on a bus from the centre of Wexford up to the ground. In departs from outside Sam McCauleys Chemists, in Redmond Square. The bus departs at 7:15pm and it costs €2 return.

The Wexford (O Hanrahan) station is served by trains from Dublin Connolly and the journey time is around two and a half hours. However on Friday evenings the last train back to Dublin leaves a 18:20, which would mean an overnight stay after the evening match has ended.
