Previously named the Nashville SC Stadium, GEODIS Park has a capacity of 30,109 and is a football-specific ground—a quality that is still fairly rare in the United States.

Having opened in 2022, the ground is incredibly modern and another sign that the sport of football is starting to gain serious traction in America. Clubs are beginning to invest heavily in their football teams and the infrastructure and Nashville SC has gained an incredibly sleek stadium as a result.

However, given its country of origin, it may look a little different from what you are expecting. Rather than adopting a bowl-like aesthetic that has become synonymous with American sports, GEODIS Park has a four-tier design—reminiscent of the more traditional grounds we have in England and across Europe.

GEODIS Park has also been selected as one of the 12 hosting venues of the 2025 Club World Cup, which will help boost the facility’s status within the sport.

Tribalism isn’t quite as rife in America in the same way it is in the rest of the world when it comes to football, and as a result, home and away fans often mix throughout the stadium.

GEODIS Park is no different, with Nashville SC fans widely regarded as being extremely welcoming. In fact, one supporter of the club took to Reddit to explain that Coyotes supporters were “way too nice”.

As a result, there is no real ‘away section’ at the ground in the way you might be expecting upon your visit. However, the largest group of travelling fans often congregate in section 233, so for the best away fan atmosphere, try and secure a seat in that area of the stadium.

Despite being a welcoming and friendly fanbase, Nashville SC fans are incredibly vocal and have plenty of chants that are regularly sung in the stands to help will their team on.

Some of the most popular are listed below:

  • You Boys in Gold
  • Nashville’s on the March
  • That’s Our Team
  • Nashville, We Love You

However, they are also very witty and often conjure up chants on the spot that poke fun at a variety of things, sometimes even themselves, such as in the video below:

As is often the case, the best views at GEODIS Park are provided by the seats in the upper tier, specifically the first 10 rows or so of the 200s section.

Seats in this area allow fans to appreciate a view of the entire pitch at once, so if you are a tactician who likes to analyse while watching, this is certainly your best option.

However, it is worth noting that the steps at GEODIS Park can get quite steep, so if you have problems with your knees, perhaps look for an alternative option.

One such option is the first few rows of the lower tier. Seats in this area are arguably the complete opposite of their upper-tier counterparts. They provide an excellent view of the players but less so of the pitch.

Ultimately, the choice you make you make will depend on your personal preference.

Seating Plan

GEODIS Park seating plan

As mentioned above, Nashville SC fans are incredibly welcoming and as such, away fans will be permitted entry into the vast majority of establishments in the local area.

Some of our top suggestions are as follows:

GEODIS Park provides some of the best-looking food at a stadium many fans have ever seen, albeit the grub is on the more expensive side of the scale.

Take a look at the images below for an insight into the type of food you can expect upon your visit:

By train & bus

When travelling to GEODIS Park by train, your best bet is to head towards the Riverfront Station. This is located an hour’s walk from the ground, so for supporters who enjoy some exercise ahead of the game, this is certainly a viable option.

However, you can also catch the Route 52 WeGo bus that stops near the ground and requires a mere 7-minute walk from the Riverfront Station to board.

Once on the 52, alight at Fairgrounds Outbound Station, which is a 16-minute walk from the stadium.

By air

When travelling by air, as many overseas fans will be, then you will of course want to catch a flight to Nashville International Airport.

Located over eight miles from GEODIS Park, walking from the airport is not a viable option for the majority of supporters. Therefore, most will want to catch the Route 18 WeGo bus service to Lafayette Street.

From there, the bus stop for the Route 52 is just a three-minute walk away. Once on that bus, follow the same steps outlined above.

Where to park for the Nashville SC game?

There are two main facilities for supporters to use on matchday, both of which usually open four hours ahead of kick-off, giving you plenty of time to get yourself organised before the match.

The first of these parking facilities is at Fort Negley, an off-campus parking lot that offers spaces for free. A shuttle service between the facility and GEODIS Park is available for $10 (cash only),

Another option is at the Nissan Stadium, specifically at lots R, T and N. Parking at this facility costs 10$ per car on matchday, however, unlike the previous option, its shuttle service is free.

It is worth noting that at both locations, parking is provided on a first come, first served basis.

In its current form, GEODIS Park has a capacity of 30,109 and is one of the finest establishments in Major League Soccer.

Naturally, the East and West Stands make up most of that figure, with a large number of seats situated alongside the touchline. However, the North and South Stands, located behind the goals, while smaller, do provide the best atmospheres.

Unlike most stadiums, GEODIS Park has always had the same capacity because it is just two years old. As the ground develops in the future, this will likely change.

Nashville SC offers two different types of tours – public tours and private tours.

Public tours

These are the most readily available tours, accepting up to groups of 10 at any one time and allowing fans access to behind-the-scenes locations to take photos of facilities such as the pitch and changing rooms.

Prices for these tours vary, however, for those being offered during December 2024, prices have been set at $20 per person.

It is worth noting that these tours are only held on certain days, so always consult the club’s official website before planning your trip.

Private tours

These private tours are a little more exclusive and the prices for them are not readily available on the club’s official website.

For more details on this service, head over to the stadium tour section of the website and input your requested booking dates and number of people and the club will get back to you.

For many fans, even those based in America, their trip to Nashville will require an overnight stay. If that applies to you, then you may be tempted to visit some of the local attractions whilst you are in the city.

Our top suggestions are as follows:

  • Fairgrounds Speedway
  • Johnny Cash Museum
  • Nashville Zoo

Naturally, given its tender age, having been officially opened in 2022, GEODIS Park is not a stadium steeped in overwhelming history.

The construction of the ground was part of a wider renovation project that also saw improvements made to the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway track, turning the facility into a venue capable of hosting NASCAR racing.

As is very often the case, the early stages of Geodis Park’s construction were incredibly frustrating and the project suffered multiple setbacks and delays.

At first, it was announced that Nashville SC would be playing their football at the stadium by 2020 – as we have discussed already in this guide, that did not happen until two years later in 2022.

Ultimately, GEODIS Park is a stadium with almost its entire history, a substantial amount of which will be created at the 2025 Club World Cup.

Naturally, GEODIS Park is still in incredibly good condition, and as such, no major developments at the ground have been reported at the time of writing.

However, with the stadium selected as one of the 12 hosting venues of the 2025 Club World Cup, we will likely see some renovations made to the facility beforehand. Although, these will likely be logistical in nature, rather than structural.

GEODIS Park’s record attendance came during the ground’s official curtain-raiser when a crowd of 31,000 were in attendance for Nashville’s MLS clash with Philadelphia Union.

GEODIS Park Average attendances

  • 2024 – 28,587 (MLS)
  • 2023 -28,257 (MLS)
  • 2022 – 27,554 (MLS)

For most clubs, this section has an easy answer, but for Nashville, that is not the case.

The club isn’t too much older than their home ground, having been opened in 2017, and as such, many of their own fans don’t even know who their biggest rivals are.

However, the Coyotes do have a small rivalry with FC Cincinnati – which may just intensify as the history of Nashville SC grows.

Being built in 2022, GEODIS Park was constructed in the modern era during which ensuring venues have adequate facilities to accommodate disabled supporters is far more of a priority than it was in the past.

As such, the stadium has the following facilities to ensure such fans have a pleasant matchday experience:

  • Wheelchair and Companion seating
  • All entrances are made with accessible gates
  • Accessible parking
  • Non-verbal cards, noise-reducing headphones, sunglasses
  • Sign language interpreters upon request

As with most stadiums, the price of tickets at GEODIS Park varies depending on which section of the ground you sit in.

A full breakdown of the pricelist for an adult matchday ticket at GEODIS Park is as follows:

  • Field Level – $20-$90
  • 200 Level – $21-$65
  • Premium Seating – $98-$395

Nashville SC Season tickets

Regular season tickets are still available to purchase, although the cheapest ones have now sold out.

At the time of writing, the lowest price for a Nashville SC season ticket is $340, while the most expensive is currently $1,105 (excluding premium seating season tickets).
